The only one? Hah! Not a chance. Take a look at my post today on the accountability thread. The M&Ms got the best of me.

Today is a new day, I understand what happened, I have been walking past my dd room, and trying to fight that urge to go in and grab some chocolate.. I know I can resist this.

Today most certainly IS a new day. And if you've got any of the evil candy left in the house - GET RID OF IT!!!! It's doing you no good whatsoever.

Here's to new days.

Um.... no. I did really poorly last night. I let myself have one, and that turned into 2 and then 3 and then I lost count. Ugh! I had meant to only buy things I don't like, but somehow managed to get one item that I did and ate way too much of it.

Today is definitely a new day. Now I just have to fight the sugar cravings for the next few days to get myself detoxed from it again. When I eat sugar I always want more the next day.

Most certainly not. I myself lost that battle, but today is a new day, and there's no sense in beating myself up over something that I can't go back and change.

What's done is done, and now I just have to fix the damage.

DANCING PRODUCE PARTY FOR ALL OF YOU...

For not giving up and for starting today as a new day. The problem isn't one off-plan day, its not getting right back on!

If I have one candy, I want 100, it's easier for me just not to have one!!

Thumbs up Doing Damage Control

I did well but I made sure that I bought candy that was easier for me to resist. I do agree that it only took about 5 DOTS before I wanted more. I take Chromium Piconolate every day to resist the urge for sweets. It works but once the sweet is in the mouth than it is difficult to not want to keep going. If you can put it away or give it away---just away.

You did your best, next time you will do better.

You all can do it - Mandalinn is totally right in that the trouble comes from not getting straight back on track!

Get rid of whatever you can. Ask the kids to tuck their buckets away in their rooms. Heck, slap a "I am stronger than a mini chocolate bar" note on the fridge and force yourself to look at it any time you feel weak!

New day, new start, new possibility. You can do it.

Count it as a learning experience. Now you know what you need to do next year (and every year) to make it through Halloween. Like everyone else said, just get right back on track and don't let a few lousy hours ruin a whole week.

Glory, I'm with you. Almost anything sweet leads to me wanting more, and not necessarily more of that food, but more of all food. For me, it's so much better just to abstain. I'd love to be one of those people who can eat anything in moderation, but, dang it, that's just not me.

We only had 10 kids come to the door and 38 packs of Skittles. Now I know to only buy one package. I dumped the remaining candy in the garbage with no regrets.
