Oh my... No. Not alone on this one. I had made a mistake and touched something non-food related but reaction causing for my allergy so I took an antihistamine and the rest as they say is history...

First Edna slipped me the mini coffee crisp.That woman knows the way to my heart and I am not above bribes I tell ya! Especially after doing 45+ sets of front steps!

Then after sorting the candy I had a snickers... had to have the mini snickers... then the mars... yes... mmmm... the mars... Got to love mini bars!

Then I had the 2 inch tootsie roll... Yep! UHHH HUH!

Then I eyes that little caramel cube...gently peeled open my friend and popped that in too!

Then my yes rested on that oh so lovely pink cream soda... mmmm...

Then I got brave/dumb... I figured... It's been well over a year since I had corn chips... and cheese doritos sound REALLY good... Aren't those minis cute... Two bags later.

I am such a loser! My throat itched... my head still hurts... my skin is crawling a DAY later... and no amount of water is clearing my system.

Then of course today was hubby to be's birthday... Well... Red Lobsters it was... And it is all you can eat shrimp. *shudder* I stopped at a reasonable amount and the staff kept asking if I was sure I didn't want more. Guess I just wanted the different types and not the quantities as I left a lot and slipped more to my 4 year old.

But man am I suffering even more now...

I don't want to get really dumb and take another antihistamine either as that will only be enticing me into more complacency.

So now I sit and suffer a bit while I drink water. All this and I walked 1km + last night and something tells me I have a lot more to do to get back on track.



And wow am I ever ashamed when I see this all typed out... *blink*

Oh no, you are not alone. I had an incident with some rice krispy treats... oh how I love those things... but at least is was one incident and I was back on plan the next day. We had over 100 kids come by trick-or-treating so there was no candy left over and we don't have kids of our own yet so no candy left in the house. I did manage to buy candy that I don't really care for so that kept the candy intake way down (but I still had some - maybe 5 mini pieces). However, I made the mistake of making ghost shaped rice krispy treats for my friends' kids - and there were too many rice krispy treats or not enough friends' kids. Either way - Back on track!!!
