It felt really, really good to have someone acknowledge the effort that goes into losing weight and not just the results (although I do love those compliments too!)

*I also had my cousin tell me yesterday that my size 16 jeans are "way too big." The ones I'm wearing have a little stretch in them, so I think I'll just try drying them and see what happens.

*I got into a size 16 lined skirt the other day. Lined clothes always seem much smaller to me than unlined. It's one of my all time favorite skirts so I've hung onto it for several years. It's still a little tight around the back, but it'll fit perfectly in about 5-10 more lbs.

I just realized that we are very close in numbers! I always like to follow those who are close to my numbers to guage myself to see if I'm doing any good. I guess I'm a little behind, according to your numbers! Okay, the challenge is on - who reaches ONEderland first between me and you. Friendly challenge, of course.

My NSV: My shoes don't fit! I was wearing a 9.5 but the other day I tried on a pair that I had from long ago (size 9) and they would NOT stay on my feet. This is a good thing. Not very many women pass up the chance to go SHOE SHOPPING!! This is a perfect excuse, right?

I can stand from a sitting position with just my legs. I used to have to help push myself up with my arms. I got up from my over stuff recliner this morning with just my legs and it dawned on me when I went to the kitchen.

I went to the movies this afternoon and part way through I realized I was sitting with my legs crossed. Wow. It's been a while!
