I posted a similar thread in calorie counters and no one replied. So I am trying here because you all seem so helpful.
My weight has stalled for about one month. I was losing 1 to 2 lbs. a week.
Now nothing. I used to consume 1600 calories, weights for 45 minutes 3 days a week and cardio about 5 days for 60 minutes.
Now I consume 1200 calories. Do not do cardio. We own a campground. I rake 1 - 4 hours daily. Still do weights.
This is what I ate yesterday. Normally I have a salad but I was outside most of the day so I used frozen vegetables instead.
B- Kashi vive mixed with fiber one and light soy milk 300 calories
I am no expert by any means, but just looking at what you posted, there are only 2 vegies and 1 fruit in your day. Not enough vegies there, IMO. Maybe you need to UP the calories a little? If you're raking up to 4 hours a day, that is a lot of exercise you're getting. (and that is a lot of soy milk you're drinking - what about water - do you drink much of that?)
Sounds to me like your body liked your OLD PLAN better! Try revisiting what you were doing back then and see if your body will start giving up some of those pounds again!
When you rake, make sure that you alternate hands and also twist a bit. That will give you a good cardio workout. You'll also be working your abs and whittling down your waist! I just finished laying eight yards of mulch all by myself, and what a workout THAT was because I also weeded!
I'm currently experimenting with carbs (trying to eat fewer of them!) and adding an extra cardio session now that my mulching and weeding are done for awhile! I'll let you know how that goes!!
I would try to up your cals some. You need 1200 just for your body to function and if you are not consumming enogh callories your body will hold on to your weight. I agree with the above psots. More water and even just walking 30 mins a day could make a difference. The raking is alot of exercise.

I should of said those servings of vegetables are 2 1/2 servings each. Which is 5 servings total of veggies and 1 of fruit. That is more than 5 a day. Thank you I should of been more specific. I do drink water and green tea, again I did not say that.
Sharon, you must be so frustrated. There's been good advice given already, but for my two cents worth, I'd try upping those cals another 100-150 or so, at least a couple of days and see what happens. I know lately, when I've dropped under 1300, that scale doesn't move. It's SO hard to get my head around eating MORE to lose weight...
Just keep up all the good stuff - that scale is bound to start moving again!!
I have never been one who ate really low-cal, but I too have a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that sometimes some people need to eat more calories to lose. But since you have stalled since you lowered your calories, I would tend to agree.
Thank you all for your replies. I am going to up my calories to 1350 about and do 30 minutes of cardio everyday and see what happens.
It is a funny thing. I posted a similar question in calorie counters and 24 people looked no replies. This group is the BEST.
When I did WW, a lot of women had major success with varying their points(calories) each day. They said that these changes kept their metabolism going and kept their body from adjusting to a set number of calories and plateuing. The same thing might work for you...maybe you can try varying your totals each day and see if your metabolism wakes back up.
Sharon, I'm so glad you decided to try over here on our board
It really does feel great to get a lot of feedback, doesn't it?
I think bumping your cals up that little bit might do the trick, just make sure you keep on keepin' on and eventually your body will adjust and start losing again. Gotta HATE those plateaus But you'll get it sorted out in no time, I'm sure
