Food for thought! I just re-read the Women's World article AGAIN (I know, I know! LOL) and thought I would share for those of you who haven't read it!

It looks to me like the main idea to bumping up your weight loss is to make sure EACH and EVERY meal you eat, breakfast, lunch and dinner, all have a balance of fresh veggies, a little bit of carbs/starches, and a small amount of protien. Veggies fill you up, carbs/starches help with cravings, and the small amount of protien helps keep you full longer.

Sounds simple enough, just wanted to share!

Hey fellow losers. (hehe never thought I would like to be called a loser..but I love losing weight). Where is everyone? How are you doing on your goal? My weigh in is tomorrow. I don't think I am going to make my Thanksgiving goal but might by the end of the year.

Hope everyone is having a great OP day.

I had that 1 1/4 lb gain so it set me back a bit - I did lose 3 lbs this week but I'm weighing in on Monday this week so I don't expect to make it for Thanksgiving Day - hopefully by November 30th though

Way to go, Kelly. It has to feel good to make goal.

Rose, I am in the same boat as you. I weigh in tomorrow and I don't think I make goal. (since I don't do meetings I could just weigh myself Wednesday or Thursday and see if I made it, but I want to play the game fair). I should make it by November 30th. (I hope).

I know yesterday I said I didn't make my Thanksgiving goal. I was encouraged by some fellow WW's on another board to WI today since I am doing the program on my own. (Logic was if I were doing meetings I could change my WI day). So I stepped on the scales this morning and I made goal. Two more pounds and I will have TBL goal as well.

We did a Halloween and Thanksgiving goal....are we doing Christmas or New Years next?

Hey Chris - there's a Christmas goal thread already going - go find it :0)

I won't be weighing in before T'day - just too much going on and not enough time. I'll check in after the holiday. Have a great Thanksgiving everybody!

BTW - my game plan is in place and I'm planning on sticking on plan
