Good afternoon ladies,

A quick check in for me. Been super busy after coming back to work yesterday. I'm doing very good with my eating and exercise. I went to my WW mtg yesterday and was down 4.6 pounds which got me back down to 221. Hopefully, next week I will make it to 219.

I hope you all have a great day! It's almost Friday

good morning everyone

Angie, Kelijpa, Diana thank you no news. I have been praying and checking the shelters and I have him on Pawboost. He was an old man, though. My other cat that passed 2 years ago was his mama

magistra how do you eat so little? I'm just curious because I get so hungry! What is your secret? LOL

okay I am down .2 today only. VERY grrrrrr! thought it should have been more. I still have 1.6 to go to be back to ticker weight...but 11 pounds to hit the 145 goal I have in sight! I don't know if that will ever happen, but at least having that as a goal keeps me from going back up too much.

Today:
B - slow cooker off the bone ham
s - 5 prunes
L - omaha chicken breast (4 oz), 1 1/2 cups steamed broccoli
s - 100 calorie bag of pop chips (sea salt)
D - TBD

maybe another walk tonight - we just did a small 2 mile one last night. I'll probably do 5 sets of body-weight squats, too.

ahhhh...just getting to chill tonight. I couldn't go for a walk because we finally had the handy man come and fix the bathtub drain.

For dinner I made some cauliflower rice with edamame, chicken breast, and light alfredo sauce. (and hot sauce) So good! I had some trader joes peanut butter pretzels today, too, but I am still under calories for now. I'm tired.

Have a good night!

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Weekend!

Oomi HI and welcome to the check-in.

Gosh, I am in need of a do nothing, relaxing weekend. But it will be busy with our church revival this weekend.

I didn't mention this last night, but yesterday at work I felt completely defeated. I started feeling bloated and hormonal. My shoes became tighter and my fingers swollen. I feel better this morning, so the hormonal stuff is subsiding a bit.

Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise in the Office 2

Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 183 (TTOM)
Down: .2

Have a great day and start to your weekend!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

September 15

2 Peter 2:9
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.

Woody had a weird dream. His hands and arms got so flabby that he couldn't reach out and pick anything up anymore. Before him stood a long table filled with marvelous things to eat, but he was unable to take anything. He woke up sweat-soaked and shuddering. It had seemed so real! He caught a glimpse of himself in the dresser mirror as he sat alone in the night. He was getting awfully plump. Maybe somebody was trying to tell him something. He was no fool. They say that God moves in mysterious ways, and maybe that was true. No reason to push the old luck. Tomorrow the diet begins!

Today's thought: I remember when my eyes could be bigger than my stomach!

Good morning ladies and happy Friday!

Diana - I hear ya on needing a do nothing weekend. I am so exausted but I have a busy Saturday too! I'm supposed to go apple picking up in North Georgia tomorrow but I may have to back out of that because I also have a concert/dinner in the evening and I'm not sure that I will get back from apple picking in time. I hope you are able to get a few hours of rest over the weekend.

grannynancy - Congrats on your whoosh! Hopefully it will stick.

Oomi - Welcome. I look forward to hearing about your success

Kelijpa - Do you do the WW Points or Simply Filling plan? I've always done the Points plan but I'm thinking about trying the Simply Filling plan for a while.

Hi to everyone else! Hope you're all having a great Friday.

All is good with me. I'm staying on track and doing my workouts. Yesterday I stopped on my way home to a new walking trail around a lake since my usual place was still closed. I did a 45 minute walk. I've also started to do some core exercises. It seems that once I hit 50, any added weight goes straight to my middle area and I hate that!

Today's Log
B: V8 Juice, WW string cheese, coffee w/SF creamer
L: Salad w/shrimp & Lite dressing, WW Chocolate Pretzel Blast bar
D: WW Gumbo
S: Popcorn
Exercise: Walk

Hello all!
167.9 this morning

I'm at my parents' we got Chinese, I got shrimp and broccoli, haven't eaten the fried rice, might have some tomorrow. I just had wonton soup, I'm sure sodium will play havoc, but luckily I won't have my scale tomorrow, so no worries.

I'm going to try and get a walk in. Hope everyone is doing well!

GettinFit I follow the points, I was talking to a substitute receptionist at our meeting, she does simply filling and loves it. If and when what I'm doing stops working, I would be open to trying it. I'm all about tweaking my plan.

I follow a plan called the sprengel plan, its named for the guy who came up with. It's basic premise is varying your points. If you are on connect, you can PM me your username and I'll point you to his posts that explain the concept. I think on here there is a similar thing called the Wendie plan.

Well, I better get going before it gets dark.

Hope everyone has a great day

Today I felt absolutely STUFFED but it was not that high--something to be said for fiber! I will anticipate an increase in weight tomorrow morning simply because this diet is not producing daily "emptying" and today was a no go day.

Breakfast-greek yogurt and fruit and oatmeal
Lunch-salad with sliced lunch meat and apple
Dinner pork chop and roasted yellow beets with kale/onion/mushroom stir fry
And my little peice of chocolate

Total
Calories-1227
Protein-88
Fat-43
Carbs-137
Fiber-32
