Good evening to all!
Tonight I made chicken Alfredo.....no pasta in sight. it was soooo good. even DH liked it on his chicken and pasta, well ok pasta in sight of DH just not me.. sauce was nothing more than heavy whipping cream whipped until just thick, then warmed to melt parm cheese poured over chicken and baked it was soo good I was sorry I only had two chicken thighs to eat

I cooked some organic ground turkey with Costco's organic no salt seasoning and added a can of Rotel and a jar of Ragu Cheese Creations Creamy Tomato, than put that over some zoodles that I only warmed in the microwave for one minute. It softens them only a little so that they are still raw but SO good that even my DH loves to eat it that way!

Good Morning. 239.4. UP 1.2 from yesterday but still down .8 since Monday. Did not sleep well last night and am a bit sore from yesterday but health and fitness are a part of the journey.
I am not going to stress on it. It is what it is and still in the right direction. I will save my stress for a plateau.
Today - kefir/greek yogurt/oatmeal/banana for breakfast salad with felafel and tahini dressing for lunch 2 hard boiled eggs for dinner. Based on measurements, 1082 calories for the day. I have never sustained weight loss at 1400, even with exercise. Tonight is dog training in the woods. Should be cooler day too. Walking yesterday at 92F in the sun was no fun.

John 16:33
'These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.'
Leo wanted to remember how tough it was. He'd lost the weight, but he never wanted to get back into the poor shape he'd recently been in. It would be way too easy to fall back into bad habits, thinking that the battle was won once for all time. It was nice to have succeeded. But Leo planned to make sure his success lasted a good, long time. It is nice to overcome obesity, but it is an ongoing battle. We should ally ourselves with the one true conqueror: Jesus Christ. With Christ's help, we can continue to triumph over our weight problems. He grants not only peace, but power to overcome any obstacle.
Today's thought: If we empty our plate, we won't lose our weight!
WI up 1.0 back at 161.0 today, I ate a late night snack last night and I think this is just water, fingers crossed.
No WO again, not sure why my motivation there has waned. I know it will come back but just not right now.
I am still pondering what to have for dinner tonight breakfast and lunch are easy, it is always hard when I have to include DH into the mix. Not that he won't eat what I eat it is I have to take into account he eats carbs and has no trouble with his weight.
Syckgirlsfv your meal has inspired me to go on the hunt for zucchini I was really big on making zoodles this summer then slowed down. And squash is in season now.....
nancy I hadn't made them in a while and ran across some organic zucchini in Trader Joe's. Yellow squash also makes excellent 'squoodles' the flavor is amazing
Diana I love that verse! There is a quote of Billy Graham's that I like to post frequently on FB -“I've read the last page of the Bible, it's all going to turn out all right.” That verse reminded me of that somehow.

Exercise:
No formal workout for today. But I did get a lot of functional fitness done. I finished my month end stuff at work, cleaned and dusted the office and cleaned the bathrooms. I also had to do quite a bit of sweeping. We have a lot of leaves falling and they have blown in the shop and up against the doors. Then I came home and started on the laundry, swiffering, etc. Actually I am worn out, LOL. Tomorrow I am planning on going for a swim.
Good Morning. Last day of the month so maybe people will go to the new month
238.0another swing but a new low although I did walk 6.6 miles yesterday and 36 flights of stairs which is accurate but also maintained hydration all day
Today hmmmm
The standard kefir/yogurt/banana/oatmeal concoction for breakfast
The standard ginormous salad for lunch / protein-tofu will do
Dinner pork chops with roasted beets and brocolli
Next month (October) I have my Dr's apts. and labs. I am interested to see the thyroid labs since I have struggled with weight loss. I will be going back to the Endo. I haven't been to an Endo in a couple of years. Hopefully a tweak is needed with my thyroid meds.. I really don't like the idea of working harder at this.
Last night I did a full body stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise Level 2 workout
Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 181
No Change
Have a great day!

Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Kerri wished she could lose weight just a little bit faster. She really didn't have anything to complain about. Since she started her diet, she had consistently lost. There were days, though, when she simply got tired of dieting. She doubted whether she was ever going to lose the weight she wanted to lose. All those times, she turned to God for encouragement. Talking to the Lord always made Kerri feel better. She really believed that He knew what she was going through. If God could be patient with her when she complained about her diet, she figured she could be more patient as she attempted to lose weight.
Today's thought: Without patience, I'll never lose weight!
WI up 2.2lbs crazy body! I know it is due to several factors 1. adult bev last night 2. buffalo chicken wings at happy hour, 3. things on the inside not moving to the outside. I have not been this high since last March.
OK enough ranting the last day of September, time to move to October my 1 year anniversary doing low carb
