This thread is really quiet lately!

I weighed in at 171.9 today but I did see 170.8 this weekend, but then didn't work out for two days. Hoping it goes down soon!!

I'm just breaking into the 170s. I saw 179.5 and 179, so I thought what the heck, I'll jump on in and assume the 170s are going to stick.

I guess I should start posting here again, too. I still haven't stayed in the 170s for very long, but I dip my toes in here at least once a week LOL I'd love to be done with the 180s for good, as it's been months.

Hey no name, good to see you! I'm bouncing up into the 180s too. I'M going to hang out here and hope I don't see too many more 180 days.

Thanks for the kind words, hhm6! My strategy has been to figure out what I can live with for the long run. I have discovered that I can have whatever I want, just not as much as I want whenever I want it.

So I set a calorie goal I can live with. Right now that's 1500 cal per day ( more on days when I run a lot ). I eat pretty minimally processed food most of the time, but I also eat pizza every week and have dessert when it fits into my calories.

The trade off is that I lose about a pound a week. I'm ok with that because over time a lb a week adds up.

Hooray!! After what feels like forever I finally get to join you guys. I have to go to a luncheon today so hopefully they'll have lots of healthy options

178.8 today.

I really hope we all get to fly through this thread and on to the 160's!

Got a 178.8 on the scale today. Hoping that I don't bounce back up into the 180s but we'll see. It felt SO good to see 17- instead of 18something today! I even recalibrated the scale twice to make sure!

Glad this got bumped again. I'm still stuck on the 180s/170s line. I might be going crazy. Sounds like I'm not the only one feeling the struggle

179.4 I was expecting a bit of a bounce, but lets hope it's a one day thing and starts back in the right direction tomorrow. Yesterday I had more carbs than normal, all "ok" carbs and within limits but I don't usually have the "max" like that.

Well, one good thing about that long struggle I just went through in the 180s is that I'm *very* motivated not to go back there!!! I was very careful today with my eating and even though I got home late, I still went out and did c25k. Now watch in the morning I'll retain water from exercising today! That would be my luck.

Noname - sorry to hear the 180s still have you in their greedy claws, trying to suck you back in. Way to keep fighting!

MauiKai - that's not a bad bounce at all. I bounced all the way back up to 179.9 before I started back down. I just didn't post it here because I was in denial...

Mollyw - are you hanging in there?

I could really use a whoosh about now. I have to get a physical on Thursday. It would be so nice to be under 180 on their scale fully dressed!
