Hi Everyone!

Sara
Congrats on the 5 pounds!

Kelijpa How is Hunter doing? Are your dogs big eaters? Cody has been a bit of an adjustment with his eating for us. We have previously had only Labs and they will eat anything and everything. Cody is a bit picky. Also, since he had the ear flare up, I only want him to eat his dog food no other people food. DH and Cody loved sharing their "moments" over snacks. If Cody eats good at one meal, he doesn't have much interest in eating until the next day. Hmm, maybe I need to follow his example.

I've been super good with food for 2 weeks, about to enter a third, running almost everyday... and I'm showing a gain. Go figure.

I have lots of errands today. I will run later.

Hi everyone - I'm checking in. I usually post on the volumetrics thread, but it's pretty quiet over there. I've somehow managed to gain a few lbs, and now I'm sitting at 129

However, my boyfriend proposed on Saturday, so now I really have a reason to get my butt in gear! Today's plan is:

Sept 15, 2014
B: Hot tea w/lemon and agave (30), 2 eggs over-easy (140) = 170
S: Apple (60) = 60
L: 1 cup buffalo chicken soup (203) = 203
S: Baby carrots/cherry tomato (50) w/ light ranch (80) = 130
D: Turkey pumpkin chili, scallion, cilantro (280) = 280
S: Popcorn (130) = 130
TOTAL: 973

Munchy, congratulations! And welcome to the thread.

Holli, welcome!

I am enjoying my work weekend being over and a relaxing morning while the kids are still sleeping.

W 169.8
B egg on toast
L veg and a protein
D definitely making the chicken noodle soup tonight.

Finally the gym is open so it's weightlifting day.

Have a good day, everyone!

Hi Everyone!

Novangle Could the gain be hormonal?

Holli Hi and welcome to the check-in! Sorry about the recent gain, but congrats on all you have accomplished, so far.

Munchy Congrats on your proposal and engagement!

CoolMom Is your gym a large or small gym? Does it have classes? I'm still thinking about joining a gym. I will probably join toward the end of the year.

I made it to the gym but we drove instead of biking. I knew it was going to be tough dragging ourselves back in after two weeks.

Diana, we just use the gym at the public pool here. The family pass for a year worked out to be less per month than the fancier gyms, and the whole family can use the pool. Plus no contracts to tick me off. lol

I'm hungry and just now (6:30pm here) getting started with making my chicken noodle soup. Oops! It will be so good when it's done.

hi everyone

I've been so busy it's been crazy at work...I'm up 3 pounds of water from the weekend and TOM around the corner, of course. Just did a short bike ride - 11 miles. It's 102 degrees and I just couldn't go any more, but DH kept going. I' home in the AC

B - Belvita breakfast biscuits
L - bison patty/steamed broccoli
S - fuji apple
D - chicken cordon bleu and not sure what else, I think I'm out of greens! :/

Diana Hunter is kind of like Cody with the food, I'm glad he prefers dog food, last night I tries to give him a hot dog (with his heartworm pill) he was having none of it! I wrapped it in a piece of leftover chicken skin, gone...he and DH like to have their little treats together too, we try to give him mostly milk bone minis, he likes them because they're so small, he likes nuts and broccoli and melon...

Munchy wonderful news!

I'm always up or down a few pounds, usually up right after the weekend and down right before that's just me.

Coolmom

W- 162.6
B-oats, craisins, pecans
L- cherry tomato cobbler
D- leftover stuffed peppers
E- walk, raining like heck right now

Good morning and have a great day

Syckgirlsfv I've been hearing from my cousins in SoCal about the weather out there, hope you get some relief soon, that's way too hot!

I am still sitting pretty at 167lbs. Food wasn't great today. A big breakfast and a big lunch. But I did get a 5 mile run in before work.

I leave for Yangon tomorrow. The hotel there has a gym, so I will be able to weight train again. They also have a hash run there this Saturday...through the jungle. I am so tempted. http://yangonhash.wordpress.com/

Oh, joy! TTOM has started again. It stopped 5 days ago. Hopefully this is perimenopause/menopause crap. I would love for this thing to go away for good, soon.

Between the hypothyroidism not being regulated, TTOM every other week, and the angioedema, it's amazing that I have held onto things as well as I have. On top of that, it's not like this has been going on a few months. I have been dealing with this nonsense for 2+ years. UGH!

Of course with I am terrified of cancer with this whole TTOM thing. Some of my symptoms are worse than my TTOM stuff in the past. But it does seem normal within the realm of perimenopause/menopause. My gyno appointment isn't until next month. It was scheduled for this month but they called to reschedule. I wish someone would invent a test that you could take once a year to see if you have any type of cancer.
