Calories for yesterday: 1565 +
Weigh In: 168.6
Down: 1.4 pounds

Have a great day!

Today I'm back on the wagon, no more excuses. I have to finish what I started. I have 3 months left until my trip/wedding so no more screwing around.

Howdy everyone. BBQ was fun last night- way too much sodium though! Holy wow water retention weight (4 pounds?!)... gonna wait a couple days to see what I stabilize at...

Yesterday-

Breakfast: Chocolate/chocolate chip sticky fingers scone from mix, coffee, Italian Sweet Creme creamer (230 cals)

Lunch/pre-hiking with friends: Brother brought home an extra double cheeseburger from McDonalds. I haven't eaten McD's in a long time.. tasted kinda meh. (440 cals) (1050mg sodium!)

Good hike with friends- Fitbit said it was 37 flights of stairs for the uphill! Woof!

Snack: Roasted seaweed snack. (30 cals)

Dinner/BBQ: Bratwurst with bun, home-made yellow squash relish, mustard, sauerkraut, ketchup and raw onion. Waaaaay too may sour cream and onion potato chips/ruffle chips with ranch dip(kryptonite...) Blackberries. Baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad. Beer, wild cherry pepsi with Jack Daniels (ick! won't do that again!) Small sliver Dark French Silk Cream Pie (kryptonite again... glad I was so full that was all I really wanted...) Total cals for dinner/munchies: 2023. Yow! Total sodium for dinner alone? 4110mg. No wonder the scale was mad!

Total for day: 2723

Back on the wagon this morning. Breakfast: Coffee with half and half, 2 scrambled eggs with garden peppers and onions and 1/8 cup shredded cheese. (253 cals)

Don't know what I'm planning for lunch/dinner yet... will end up playing it by ear. Drinking water like crazy today! Gotta flush that crap out. Choir rehearsal tonight.

A little better on the mental front today, but still called a couple local area counselors... not a bad thing to have established in any case.

Diana: No coffee! My definition of ****... the worst part last summer about trying to diagnose my cardiac issues was I couldn't tolerate coffee... I missed it SOOOO bad.

Ian: Hate when somewhere moves something around for the heck of it. Like... the grocery store, for example. Gaaah!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Edit to add: This forum edits out the world h*ll? Seriously?

Up 0.6lbs to 171.6lbs. Yikes.

Breakfast today was smaller....sardines, smoked oysters and oats. Lunch was my usual with leftover Spanish mackeral, mussels, squid, smoked oysters and a crabcake.

For exercise, I ran 4 miles before work and did 50 minutes weight training before lunch.

All done with my scope and it was easy peasy. Everything looked good and I can schedule my little procedure next.

W 166.6
Got food on the way home: falafel wrap, fried tofu and a shrimp salad roll. Stuffed! That was just under 700 cals in one sitting.

Thanks Diana. I leave on Monday. I will try to eat a light lunch that day/no lunch and then eat some fish in the business lounge and then again on the plane. I will get a run in before I fly and perhaps some weight training too. The trick is to not let the travel disrupt your regime too much. I arrive in Frankfurt the next day for my connecting flight. I arrive in the morning but fly in the evening. So I have booked a day room at a hotel at the airport, will sleep, workout in the gym and then fly in the evening/eat again.

EyDawn glad you're feeling better, I have the task of making zucchini relish, my dear MIL says she's not making it. I don't can so i've been looking at small batches to try and find the right recipe, it is good stuff. Can't express how awesome that brat sounds yummie!

Ian you're awesome

I would like to get started back slowly this month. I had a hysterectomy on the 8th of last month. Things are getting back to normal My awesome husband has been treating me like a princess and doing all the cooking and cleaning. But I am ready to move more and watch my eating better. The exercise will be slow for a while but I hope to keep adding to it each week.

B 2 slices of french toast with NO syrup and 2 pieces of bacon
L a little 1 serving bag of Cheetos
D Shrimp and rice
S ice cream/must have taken to much insulin for the rice and got a low blood sugar
E 1/2 mile on the treadmill 1st time going any exercise since surgery
W 214.0

Oops, I was at last month's thread. Couldnt figure out why no one posted after I did. Finally remembered its Sept !! Diana started a new Garden.

Sukale So glad that you have a wonderful husband to treat you well during recovery. I hope you will go slowly with exercise. Let the body really heal well. I have also had a hysterectemy. A partial one.

Diana, Re: Redbox, years ago I registered online. I could actually go to the website, browse whats available at the redbox where I was going, and reserve a video. Then just go to the store and put my card in the machine and pick it up. Drop off is very easy. You can find a list of all the redbox machines in your area. Drop it off at any one of them. It doesnt matter which one. I tried to put the URL here. But it was so long that I took it off.

CoolMom, so glad everything went well. Easy and good report.

Ian I would settle for 1/5 of your dedication. You rock

Good Morning, Everyone!

sukale Welcome back! I'm glad the surgery was a success and things are improving for you.

Last night I added on: Slim & Limber from Slim in 6

Calories for yesterday: 1500 +
Weigh In: 169.4
Up: .8

I think the gain is from the sodium in our dinner. I always show a gain when I go to that place. But DH likes it.

Have a great day!
