Good Morning, Everyone!

CoolMom75 Hi and Welcome to the check-in!

Last night I added on: Short Rest from Yoga for Stress Relief

I have had a significant gain since yesterday. I know it's from the salt in the oysters but it is still frustrating. I literally only ate a serving of green beans and steamed oysters. No sauce or anything. The oysters were not steamed in a broth or anything. Plain steamed. UGH! The good news is that I think TTOM is over. Hopefully it will stay away for a while this time.

Calories for yesterday: 1380 +
Weigh In: 165.8
Up: 2.8 pounds

Have a great day!

Good morning, everyone

I can only post briefly, but I just wanted to share that I lost another pound of that weight I put on over the weekend. So I'm down to 158.6. That's three pounds of water weight gone since Monday. What a relief. I've got another half pound to go to meet my first mini-goal of 2 1/2 pounds. Baby steps, I know.

Diana: I can really relate to your frustration over water retention. You are so consistent with eating well, so it has to come off soon. Hang in there!

I have to get ready for work. I plan to post more later.

Have a great day!

I am shaking things up today, since I have had no weight change in four days and I can feel my body becoming complacent with my diet & exercise routine.

So today my diet will be almost entirely vegetables with a protein shake after my workout.

It will be too warm for me to go walking while it is daylight (it's going to be near 90° today) and I have Bible class tonight so to shake things up I am planning 60 -70 minute indoor workout between Spanish class and grocery shopping. I plan to do some floor exercises (abs) this afternoon, bosu squats, an arm workout, and a half hour of flow yoga.

[Edit] It turned out to be not as hot as I was expecting, but I still hate walking in blazing sun so I am working out inside today.

I stepped on the scale this morning and lost 5 pounds. Then I stepped on it again and lost 37. Time to go get another battery (and of course it's a coin battery - not one I have around the house.

Started my day with mall laps again. I'm moving more, but I just don't have it in me yet to get up and swim at 6 am when it's 40 below.

hi everyone!!!

I'm a little less pissed off today...Roadbikerchick you're right of course and I WILL pick myself up, dust my self off, and give back those pounds!

I hope to keep to eating the way I have the last few days - last night before school I had an all breast-meat turkey burger (no bun, just the meat) from Costco with melted light Jarlsberg and sauteed zoodles on top...it was awesome! I didn't eat anything else the whole night, not even when I got home from school. Just my glass of wine and bed!

I'm feeling really good lately - got energy and everything. I have been drinking this coffee that's healthy and has Ganoderma Lucida...and it's delicious, too! I think it's what has me feeling so good

Okay TODAY:
B - 2 hard-boiled eggs
L - high fiber low carb wrap w/ tuna, light mayo, and romaine lettuce
S - cubed watermelon

Dinner - I have some fresh spinach ravioli and some pesto sauce I might fix - maybe some chicken breast with it. That will be all.

Weighed in at 179 today.

Working through a sautéed cabbage stashed in the fridge:
Breakfast:
bowl of the cabbage,
two eggs with goats cheese,
Two bacon,
Coffee with milk

Lunch:
Homemade pizza (ww crust, topped with mozzarella, more of the cabbage and thinly sliced red potato) 1.5 slices. Oh and a homemade béchamel sauce instead of the usual tomato. Naughty!!!

Dinner:
Another 1.5 slices of the pizza. I'm glad that's gone!
Popsicle

Total cals today: 1305

Hello everyone,
It may not seem like the best menu but the fact we had 8 inches of snow and I usually kill the boredom by eating I think I did ok.
1/21/14
honey almond bran cereal with 1/2 banana
1/4 cup 2% milk
coffee with 2% milk

1 cabbage roll
homemade whole wheat pita chips (10) with salsa
5 green olives

pulled pork sandwich on whole wheat bun
10 tater tots with ketchup

cherry flavored seltzer

Today I did pretty good.

Protein Shake

Nature's Bounty Chocolate Complete Protein 2 scoops
Vitacost Whole Food Shake 2 scoops
1 tsp Spirulina
1 tsp Maca
2 Acai Berry Capsules - I open and pour in the powder
2 cups soy milk
2 cups water

I had that for breakfast and lunch, keeps me full for 5-6 hour at a time.

Don't know what I'm going to have for dinner yet.

I found out today that I lost 13 pounds since Jan 1st 2014 - without eating perfect or working out but that is my overall goal, eat better, exercise and think positive.
