Diana...I wish we had a salad bar! They sell some pretty basic salads for about $4. It's a good amount of salad, but it's cheaper to bring my own stuff.

Went shopping today! Bought some bananas, pineapples, lettuce, spinach aaand..more tuna.

Breakfast : 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and peppers, picante sauce, piece of toast and 1 glass of Tampico 420 calories.

Lunch : Canned salmon and a slice of bread. 220 calories.

Snack : Modelo 145 calories.

Dinner : Grilled pork chop, one cup roasted potatoes and salad with a tbsp light Italian dressing. 430 calories. My favorite meal of the week for sure!

Notes : Both breakfast and dinner made me a little sleepy. Maybe the fat?

Well, I did my numbers. For the first time. They look pretty good. I assumed a 'bad' day and 'moderate' activity. I should be slowly losing with 2200 calories. Any thoughts? I am thinking the eggs might need to go. Or perhaps the lentils, prunes and blueberries.

Good morning all! OthelloLove like you I had a release last night, I think I got up 3 times, lol, but it was good, got rid of what I was retaining, back down to 158.9, so back to Friday's weight.

Yesterday
B- coffee w/creamer (140)
L- avocado w/salsa (285)
D- 1/2 large sausage sandwich (801)
S- chai latte w/spiced rum (346)
E- 4 mile walk @ rail trail (-356)
64 oz. water

Those numbers are according to MFP, I was 124 under for the day.

Ian if it were me I would probably try removing the regular eggs, or removing the eggs every other say and the other stuff the other days so you're still getting variety and different nutrients while lowering the calories. I like to vary somewhat, but could easily eat the same thing every day, DH not so much, which is good.

By the way Diana he is doing good with the program, he lost 2 last week.

Hope everyone Has a good day : sunny:

Good morning, everyone

I've been gone since Friday, from here, that is. I felt irritated and deprived, and last night I ate a lot. Not a true binge, but waaay off plan. All the weight I've lost since the New Year is back, and then some. I'm up four pounds from the weight I was only four days ago. I'm so mad at myself.

I know there's no way all that weight is fat. Only thing to do is to get back to it and do what I need to.

I need to find some motivation.

I'll try to post some greetings later. Right now I'm just kinda miserable.

See you.

last night while taking kids home, one of the kids got the truck's tailgate off its hinges....while attempting to fix it in the dark, the whole tailgate dropped off the truck and onto my knee, slamming into it really hard...I could barely walk last night....it's slightly better today but still difficulty walking...I don't think i'm making it to the gym today because I cant do anything with weights on my lower body right now...ughhh

Hi all - I would love to join this thread. I find the daily accountability is extremely helpful at keeping me in check. I also find the companionship of being with others going through the same battle is helpful. Many helping hands makes the work less difficult.

My weekly weigh in was 188.8 - down 9.2 pounds - first week of doing the Atkins diet.

Alaskan ouch! that really sucks! Hope it feels better soon!

Just came back from a good swim. Didn't track yesterday, was at a nephew's birthday party all day.

Today's out: 270+ Walking the dog

Today's in: 1000:
Isofemme shake
salad with small amount of diced chicken & italian dressing
Supper will be steamed salmon and some cooked greens.

Weight is down .1 from yesterday.

Have a great day everyone!

I'm right on plan today-no temptations. Had egg whites and chicken chorizo for breakfast, burger patty and salad for lunch. The last time I did LC, I think I had way too many eggs and my calories were too high. Trying to supplement with egg whites at least 50% of the time in order to keep the calories reasonable. Eggs are my "go to" food.

Found out my balsamic vinegar has 1g carbs per serving. It tricked me! I don't use much, but will monitor carefully until I buy a new one. I'm craving some more salad now....

im able to walk today although it hurts to bend my knee or straighten it....it was just because it fell directly on the kneecap bone...no cushioning from muscle or fat man does that hurt....it also fell slightly on my other leg above the knee but doesn't hurt there because it's all fat/muscle there, not bone...

Oh gosh Alaskanlaughter, I hope you heal quickly. I've felt that kneecap bone pain when I got sidelined by a little brat on a snowboard when I was learning how to downhill ski. He was in the wrong lane and lost control, his snowboard smacked right into my right kneecap...first and last ski session lol...now I have trouble with it now and then, but we find ways to work through the pain!

Today is my day off from the gym, but I did a 45 minute yoga class this morning at home.
