Hi! I just found 3fatchicks.com and have been reading old threads like crazy! This site has given me the motivation to set an actual goal weight, vs. my previous attitude of losing "some" weight. I feel much more in control and prepared now with a goal. We've been doing a 12 week weight loss challenge at work with the final weigh in on Dec. 9th. I had recently been hoping to lose 30 lbs by that date, but I've only lost 18 by now with only 5 weeks to go. It's doable, but I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't make it. However, I think 12 lbs in 7 weeks is totally possible, so I thought I'd join your thread!
Starting weight Sept. 16th: 177.2 lbs
Current weight November 4th: 159.2 lbs
Goal weight December 9th: 147.2 lbs
But if not, I will still celebrate if down by December 25th!
Hello Everyone! I haven't posted since the first thread. Things have been a bit hectic since DH found a job out of state during the week and is only home on weekends. The good news is I got past my 268 where I was stalled for weeks.
Here are my numbers now:
SW: 268
CW: 258.5
GW: 238
I know I have 20 lbs still to go, but I've been stuck in the 260's for so long, I am thrilled to be closer to being under 250 which I haven't seen since 2001.
Well it's Monday here and I seem to recall there was a Monday weigh in at some point for this challenge haha...and even though I posted a few days ago, I'm posting now because it's Monday. And I'll try not to post again til next Monday hehe! Hope everyone is doing well!
I have a 2 part theory on this week. The previous week, I didn't lose anything so the week after TOM + some new tea that did not agree with my stomach = this week's loss. I'm happy but it shouldn't happen quite like this.
MellyWag-I'm thrilled goal weight is so close! I can't believe it. It just felt a bit like cheating this week with getting sick from that tea but I guess I should accept it as it comes!

I might actually be able to make my goal! 9.2 lbs to go in 7 weeks means I would need to lose apprx 1.3 lbs/week. Not sure if I'll make it, but I'm going to try!

I worked really hard at the gym this week and ate really well, but I did not feel like I lost any weight at all. I was really stoked to see that I lost 2.6 lbs this week, especially after feeling so down about it last night. Now, I really feel like I will make goal!
