Angry Hi !

My computer wouldn't connect online for a few days, the cable dude came twice yesterday, the first time I got on-line long enough to read the first page. Then I unfortunately had to go to work. So I believe it is finally fixed. Janie- Welcome as ez said- I must have came after you. But the more the merrier. Zoe- sorry to hear your sick, I voted, but the choice of candidates were awful I actually probably threw my vote away, I voted for the right to life candidate, because I didn't care for the 3 candidates that were being promoted. I can hope it helped send a message. Not! Sami- Hi girl! How are you feeling, doing better? I hope so. Wilma congrats on the loss, and pray all goes well with the move. It has got to be exciting. Gutchie-where are you, how did your weigh in go? E.Z. - thanks for the group hug it has been one of those weeks, and its just begun. Eggplant parm sounds wonderful. Well it snowed and rained, so the roads are a frozen mess. Schools are delayed. A reg. yucky winter day!, glad there is always warmth here. God Bless! Hi to eveyone I missed.

Hi Ladies-- I am with you Sue-- here in Calif. we had lousy choices for governor-- my candidate lost but I am not sure it was such a loss-- only for my party. The local races went well for us-- a very low turnout though. The weather here in southern Cal. is in the 70's but we do expect rain in a day or so-- we are having cool mornings and evenings if that helps!! We are having some problems with our internet service too-- very slow.
Well I gotta cook tonight but I am taking the easy way out-- some Stouffers frozen food. Oh well ya do what ya gotta do.
He sure does Love you guys-- and He is watching the weight just melt off from all your hard work ladies! Outta here for now--Gary

Good Wednesday Evening everyone ~

The election is over and for the first time in YEARS, my choices were the majority of the winners. I can remember once, years ago when we lived in FL, I voted for all the moral issues (we are talking politics, right? ) and every single person I voted for, lost. I was so turned off to voting because of that. The races here in TX were dirty....I mean, I don't know about any of y'all but the commercials were filled with mud slinging comments. I for one, am glad that it's over.....and it doesn't hurt that my choices won.

Sue ~ glad to hear from you. Hope all is well.

Sami ~ My prayers for you and your new boss.(and Lord, yes, a Christian would be wonderful. )

Gary ~ Some of those Stouffers meals are really good. Have you tried the Hot Pocket types? Really good.

Joanne ~ How's that candy? Give it away if you can't stand it.

Wilma ~ Praise God on a 4 pound loss!!! Don't you just LOVE being a LOSER for Christ????

Janie ~ come back and chat.

Have a great evening everyone.

Love in Christ,

I was in bed at 10:00 last night and then woke up at 2:00 and didn't get back to sleep until after 4:00. Now I'm paying for it. I have so much on my mind that I can't seem to clear it and when I wake up my mind is racing again. I spent a lot of time praying because that calms me.

DH had a bit of a problem with his first run of his new job and he's a bit concerned that they won't want to keep him on. He's a super driver and things happen but not on the first run. I guess I'm down a bit because of that today.

I've been eating really well lately. Hopefully, it'll show up on the scales again. wouldn't it be nice to be down 10 lbs. before I have to go for any interviews when we move.

Sami: I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. Why aren't they hiring people at your job to replace those who have left? The stress of the extra work can't be helping your health any. Please take care of yourself. I'm praying for you!

Zoe: Good to see you here. How are you doing? Are you vanishing before our eyes?

Gary: Low 70's. Here it's just above the freezing point. I would love low 70's. It is my choice to live here so I won't complain too much.

Doitforme: Hopefully your computer problems will be over soon and you can be with us regularly.

Gutchie, Janie and all the rest of you: Have a wonderful day and post often!!

Hello to all you "LOSERS" for Christ!

Just finished dinner and cleaned up. We are going to have a nice relaxing evening tonight ~ watch Survivor, CSI and Without a Trace.

Wilma ~ I pray that all is well with DH new job. Don't get down.....God turns all things into good. And yes, I think I really *AM* vanishing before your eyes.

Sami ~ I hope this evening has you feeling better. I am praying for your pain to cease. As for the computer, I know that there are softwares out there, Christian and non Christian, where they filter out all the bad stuff. I wish I knew how to find them. I do not have any little ones on here so I don't have that myself. Anyone here know??

Gary, Sue, Joann and Janie ~ Hope you're all doing well.

Have a wonderful night and a great Friday.

In Christ's Love,

Thumbs down THURSDAY NIGHT

HI LADIES- I hope this finds everyone well. I just got back from taking my nephew to tennis lessons and I don't have to cook because my DW promised my nephew she would make him raspberry chipolte chicken--thank goodness it's HER dish and not mine A little bit of rain here tonight but the day was beautiful-in the high 70's. I know la ti da- from all you cold country people.
I don't know how you guys do it-- the weather that is.
ZOE I really like Survivor and CSI, my son and I. It splits the family though because my wife likes Friends and Scrubs- then CSI the ER.
WILMA- Hey girl stop the worry o.k.? God is in control-- he will see your family through it. Keep praying though-- we will too
SAMI- I am so sorry you aren't feeling well-- and all the trouble at work to boot-- sounds like you need a break-- any chance of an easy week-end for you? Tell those kids to do their chores!!! Without complaining to help their dear mom out.
SUE-JOANNE- hope all is well in your neck of the woods-- and all the rest I missed-- take care of yourselves!!
Later--In His Arms-Gary

Thanks so much for the encouraging words. I know I need to trust God more. He wouldn't let DH quit his job and then blast him out of another one. DH called me this evening feeling so much better about himself and that means I feel better too. His boss said to put the last trip behind him and carry on. He was happy about that. Now I can start house shopping in earnest.

When DH called he told me that where he was in Iowa it was 68F. I told him to be quiet and leave me to wallow in self pity with my 3C. He just laughed at me. And here I am moving to the city which is known in Canada as the windy city!!

Have a good night!

Hello everyone.....

I just got in from my weigh in. I almost didn't want to go. I have this habit of getting on my scale at home just before I go to my WW meeting. It didn't move. As a matter of fact, it was up by half a pound as of yesterday.........Ok....from now on, I promise NOT to pay any attention to my own scale. If I feel like I don't want to go to the meeting because "I didn't lose anything", I will ignore that feeling.....

I lost 1.8 for a total of 23 in 9 weeks!! Woo Hoo!!

No time to write now but I'll be back...hope you are all doing well.

Me <><

199.4/176.4/148-ish

Default On a roll!

This is the second week in a row that I've recorded a loss. YIPPIEE! I lost 1 lb. last week and here I was worried that the loss from the week before wouldn't stay off. I've been really watching what I eat and being able to eat my supper right after work instead of waiting for DH to come home has helped I think. I know this won't last long but I will do it this way until things change again.

DS is home with friends this weekend. I'm glad for the company despite the noise (at 2:00 am) and the mess. They're neat kids who love the Lord. One of the girls he brought home is a little more special to him than the others. She's a sweet girl.

I haven't done much exercising this weekend because these kids sleep late in the am and I don't want to wake them up with my thumping. They leave on Tuesday so I'll get back into the swing of things then.

Zoe: You are going great guns! You must really be able to notice it in your clothes too. YEAHHHH!

Have a great day today! I'm off to church!

Everyone must have had a good weekend! Mine was busy and there was a great lack of sleep. DS Goes home today so I'll get some sleep now. I don't know how kids these days can stay up so late.

Well, I better get ready for work. Talk to you more later!
