I am glad to hear all is going pretty well for you guys. Congrats on the weight loss! I was off the weekend and went home, to my parents then Monday a small group went to Dartmoth with the pastor and his wife. He had new tests run last Wed. and He got the reports read by the Dr. on Monday. They were some new things that lighted up on the bone scan so they had to do one more test to decide whether it was a new metastisis, or an injury to the bone. I recieved the news last night at work. He has new lessions in his leg and on his rib cage. His Dr. is stopping the interferon treaatment. He will be scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor off his back, which they will make a serum out of and re inject. This is the last option for treatment he has. I appreciate all the prayers I am sure you have been doing, and know you will continue. I just wanted to update you. I know God is in control, but it still hurts!!. Those of you that asked about a blocker for your computers. There is a free one called we-blocker offered on the internet. if you go to a search site such as google.com and enter we-blocker it will bring it up. Sometimes it blocks stupid things Ex. 3fc But it has a pass word protected parent control.
So you can contol getting into the things that it blocks if you want to. I have had very few problems with it and it is free. It updates quite often to scan new sites. But haven't really seen anyporn get through. Kids use my computer, as well. Hopefullyt this will solve any issues. I have to get ready for work now, take care. Luv ya's God Bless!!

I have been down with pain again. I went to my Dr and he thought I might need surgery to remove a cysts on my left ovary. I went today and the Gyn is worried also. I am having more test on next wensday. The timing is so bad. My Boss has quit and I have picked up her work It is so stressful! I also Go to another specialist thur because of the pain I am having in my upper body. Please say a prayer that the Dr. get to the source and Fix me!

I had some more bad news today. I went to specialist over the pain in my stomach and he is worried because all the meds he has given me have not helped at all. So now he ordering more tests. One of the tests he talked to me about have such bad side affects I could end up in the hospital for a week in bad.....pain. Please pray that they find the cause and it is something meds can fix. I am having a speical kind of MRI it is called something like a MRI ERC and if this show something they will do a ERCP and that is the one that can cause a lot of pain. I really need your prayers.

I have a banquet to go to tomorrow for a dear member of our church. He became an Eagle scout, quite an honor--AWESOME kid. My nephew is really coming around, we had our first meeting with his new case worker last night and she was impressed with his new behavior and attitude. She also said his mom is just not "GETTING IT" yet on what she needs to do to get him and his sister back. Time will tell.

Well, I'm still overweight and now have even more weight to lose. I really don't know what has happened to me the last few years. I work really hard and basically have eaten anything and everything I desired. Hince, I now weight more than I ever have in this lifetime. It's so sad!
After a recent Dr's visit, I have come back to you wonderful folks. Since I have made up my mind this time I have to do it or make an appointment with a cemetery, I had to come back to ya'll. You have always been an inspiration to me and so I have returned.

Hi Everyone! It seems like quite a while since I posted. Things are starting to get busier here. I am still working and now have to start sorting through things and packing. DH came home last night and it's soooo good to have him home. He leaves again on Monday but I'm going down to the city on Thursday. Finally, I get to go look at some houses. We have 3 picked out so hopefully we can swing it financially. Please pray that we do what the Lord would want us to do. It's so hard to make the right decision sometimes.
Zoe: Hope your WI goes well. Let us know how you did. Even if you stall one week think about how well you have been doing and go on from there!

Our church is having a farewell luncheon for us and another couple who are leaving our valley. I'm not looking forward to it. I hate good'byes and I also hate having attention drawn to myself. What makes it hard is that I'm leaving behind some really great friends.
Well, I better go get something done. After a week of not cooking I get to cook a meal for DH and myself. I'm making chicken pieces with mushroom sauce. Can't wait!
Just a quick note on my WI today. Ok, only .6 lbs but hey, I'm not complaining. I know I had a bad week. Not with my amount of eating/food but with what I ate. I had hardly any protein and TONS of carbs. That will surely cause a low loss. So I am going to hit the protein this week.

Is the walk for a benifit other than staying in shape? Just wondering. I have no new news about the pastor, He has to have preadmission tests before surgery. I just pray the Lord intervenes and heals him and restores him to health. We did a 24 hr. prayer vigil Friday night. My time slot was 1am-2am. It is hard to pray for an hour on the same issue, but it went well. I gotta run to work, missed church this am as I have a commute of 1 hr. to get there and we had an ice storm. It's a beautiful day here in central Texas! The sun is warming us as the wind cool us down. It's kinda like mixed signals as the seasons change. I wish the wind would tame down for a little while so I could get outside for a while and enjoy the warmth.
Well, last Sunday I had weighed and was astonished at how much I weighed and also realized that a lot of it was fluid retention so I took my Lasix and ran all day. Then
Wednesday was the day I went to the Cardiologist and got the bad news about my heart. She wanted me to have Gastric Bypass surgery immediately. I told her I had heard 1 in 200 pts die from that surgery and she said yes but if I didn't have it, I would die anyway. UGH!!!
In shock, I was told that I am in Diastolic Heart Failure and if I don't do something very drastic will not be around to see my kiddos grow up. I am not too keen on having this surgery but I did some checking and my insurance WILL NOT pay for it in any form whether it is medical neccessary or not. NO period. I have watched and wrote down every morsel that has gone in my mouth beginning Thursday morning and as of this morning I have lost 5lbs since Wednesday and 10 since last Sunday!!! : So I am very proud to have gotten that much off my body in a week. Fluid or fat, whatever. That's 2 bags of 5lb sugar that I don't to carry around everyday. The Dr really stressed that fact that I am carrying around 3 1/2 (50#) bags of feed extra every day!!!! When you think about it that way, no wonder I'm so tired!!!!!! Wow, I'm stronger than I thought!!! Ya know?
ZOE~ How in the world are ya??? Congratulations on the 23lbs or is it 24lbs now?!?!! You are a smoking at that losing thing, girl!!!! :
WILMA~ Take some slow deep breaths . . . . . . . the Lord will get you through all of the craziness you are now experiencing. He will also guide you to find the best house for you. Good luck with the farewell luncheon. I know that will be hard but wonderful at the same time to know you have such special friends. I hope and pray that this time will be IT for me too.
