Just a flyby to come up to date. I just wasn't taking the no-sugar challenge seriously yet (as often happens after a long break). It fell, but I'm starting again today. Yes, it has perhaps become easier for me to stop after just a bit of sweets, but that is not always the case. So, for three weeks I can lay off the stuff. After all, I do have three pauses within that time period to take if I really want to. I had a day with alcohol and smoking but am continuing those challenges as are.

No processed sugar challenge -- Day 0 completed -- 3 pauses left
No smoking -- Day 7 completed -- 2 pauses left
No alcohol -- Day 7 completed -- 2 pauses left

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday but I was good with no alcohol and calories but was my off exercise day for the week so didn't get my 10,000 steps. Today I got 10,100 steps, no alcohol and within calorie limit.

...get 10,000 steps in - 6 days completed - 2 pause left
...not have alcohol - 7 days completed - 3 pauses left
...not go over my calorie limit - 7 days completed - 3 pauses left

This is a great challenge, because it takes 21 days to break a habit, which is a huge factor in gaining weight.

Sorry, folks. Life got in the way of posting. Things have more or less fallen by the wayside, but I have not lost sight of just where I left them. Will be back soon.
Congrats to those of you who have kept going and held the fort.

Default Life got in the way

As Red said, "sorry folks, life got in the way of posting"....
For me, that is exactly the case. My daughter was in a bad automobile accident last week. She will be OK, though, the car is a total loss. Life goes on but anything I was working on is "out the window".

So, here I am, and I am going on vacation next week as well. Staying on my Weight Watchers plan is not something I do well on vacations. But, I would like to be here with you and make this simple.

So, today is day 1 of including some for of physical activity in each day. It can be sit ups, my treadmill, walking, and when I am on vacation my paddle boat.

There really shouldn't be any excuses?

So, here I am, Day 1 of the physical activity challenge.

Derry, I Hope your daughter is Ok, and your insurance company is helpful!!
I can see how you have better things to do right now besides 3fc! And your vacation seems well timed too, hope you are able to relax. I am off on a vacation myself next week, so I will jump back into it when I get back. I have good news though, all of my training for the triathlon is paying off (slowly...but I can be patient if the results keep up) and I have lost 5 pounds or so. My highest weight in early Aug topped out at 180, on a morning after a salty pig out and this morning I was 167 something, after a long run. But realistically, it's probably 5 pounds. Yay!
1 week of no exercise and eating out is going to be tough though....
Hi Red, and great job Andynoo and Bikini!!! You are doing great!!

Thanks, Apple, great job with your 5 pounds. You go girl!

As for me, I already blew it. Way too much going on I guess. I'm re-starting today at day one of the physical activity.
I have to say this to you all, what the heck is wrong with me? I can't stay committed to anything lately.
I have to get myself back and stop putting other things ahead of my health, it's a priority I need to make.
