day 14 - exercise - 0 pauses left
day 16 - calories - 2 pauses left
day 17 - water - 3 pauses left

Never realized it's been so long since I posted! Challenges are doing just fine and the scale has been slowly going in the right direction once again! I've just been really busy and still havent' quite found my footing since I've gone back to work.

Apple - WOW! You're just really on a roll! I'm happy to see you doing so well!

Red - Looks like you're doing well too! Is your life calming down at least a little bit?

Hi Rdye & Shy! Keep up the good work!

Gotta run once again. I've got to do a lot today. We're going X-country skiing again tomorrow so I need to get all my errands and chores done today.

dj, good to see you!! sotypical, glad you found your way over. Making new threads and seeing if people can find them is part of the challenge. I didn't put that in the explanation.

2 Pauses on day 2 - got a great workout in Saturday am, but had a ladies night out.... first time I've been out (other than new year's eve) since Halloween! Yay that mono is gone, but a few too many cocktails w/the ladies got me way off food plan. Oh well - I can honestly say it was worth it - just lifted my spirits to be out and about and not home sick anymore! Next time I'll work on that alcohol thing... no beer, though, which is good!

Food Plan (stay on plan) (2 pauses) - PAUSE - Day 1
Exercise every day (3 pauses) - Day 2
No eating 2 hours before bed (2 pauses) - PAUSE Day 1

Going to do an exercise DVD today - I worked out hard Thursday, Friday & Saturday and think yoga or pilates will be a nice, gentle workout for my body today. Then I'll hit it hard again Monday!

Hope you all had great weekends!

Red - you're CRUISING on your goals!! YAY!!!

Happy to see you, sotypical!!

No alcohol, Day 6, (2 pauses left)
45 min exercise, Pause, Day 3, (1 pause left)
100 crunches, Day 6, Pause, (1 pause left)
South Beach Diet, Day 5, (NO pauses allowed)

I'm a little worried about 45 min of exercise. I forgot how hard it is to do when DH is away. Well, I'll have to make an extra effort in the evenings to get the step out while I watch TV. Usually after I put the kids to bed I am cold, so moving around warms me up, I just have to stretch it out for 45 min!
The Beach was awesome yesterday. I really wanted to go back today, but my kids weren't too excited about the thought of another long drive.

Rdye, I think you deserved a night out! Personally, I am hoping no one invites me out. At least not for another week.

Hi DJ, Red, Sotyp & Shy

Apple - so envious of your proximity to the beach! It's snowing here in chicago AGAIN... will winter ever end? I think I need to move to cali!!

Wink one more down...

Day 10 is done. Going OK on the challenge and my skin is really clearing up. I'm SO happy. BUT, I've got to start working on the weight loss again. I'm growing out of my clothes!

Hello all!! Hang in there!

I am such a bratt. I can't believe I kept forgetting to post! So yah, whatever - starting everything over today! hah! And including a new challenge....

1. Post in thread daily (2 pauses) - day 1
2. Stay within calories, 1 break meal allowed a week (3 pauses) - day 1
3. Drink at least 3L of water daily (1 pause) - day 1
4. Exercise min 30min 6 days a week (2 pauses) - day 1

Okay, so I think #1 is totally imporant since I keep forgetting to post. I come here everyday and post in other threads... can't figure out why I keep forgetting about this one!

#2 means I can have ONE MEAL and one meal only a week that I don't have to enter into my journal, if it turns into more then one meal a week or even in a day (like not counting a meal and a snack) - then a paused must be used!

The rest and pretty easy, haha

See you all tomorrow!!

I know I won't be a size 8 over night, but I'm not feeling very patient today. I am sad because I know this is going to take a really long time....*sigh*

Oy - I need to adjust my challenges - I had workout every day - I'm realizing that's just not possible and I don't want to set myself up for failure... I'm changing it to 6 days / week! I need a break once in a while!!

day 16 - exercise - 0 pauses left
day 17 - calories - 1 pause left
day 19 - water - 3 pauses left

Well, took a pause on the calorie count on Sunday. We went x-country skiing on Sunday, and it's too hard to recreate what I snacked on! I should be ok on the pauses though since I'm close to finishing and won't be going skiing again until next week.

Apple - Don't forget, taking off ALL the weight you want to lose, might take a little while, BUT, you'll be losing sizes as you go! That will make you feel great in the process. You'll get there.

Gotta run.

I hope I am able to get that exercise in.
Thanks for the encouragement, DJ. I've been on this diet for a week now, and my body is just not letting go this time. Usually I get pretty quick results right at the beginning. Not this time for some reason. Ugghh.
Patient. I must be patient.
