Grasshopper - you will have to learn how to eat out properly. Just because you are trying to lose weight doesn't mean the end of your social life!

The best bets are to stick with lean proteins and veggies. Almost every place will serve some sort of grilled chicken that you can have.
If you go to the nutrisystem website - they have a section called "dining out' (under the My Program tab), this gives you parameters of what to eat for different types of cuisines. Very helpful.
Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. You are paying for food, so get it prepared the way you want. Most places are happy to accomodate you. Even if there isn't something on the menu, say all dishes are sauced - ask for them to make one without the sauce. Just tip more

I eat out dinner at least once or twice a week, and breakfast twice a week - so you can lose weight while eating out.

Congrats Juitsy, great job.

Still going strong and sticking to it, today is Day 4. I was planning on weighing 1 time per week, but I snuck a peak today. Minus 5 lbs. I hope that sticks!

Sue - I hope your weight loss sticks!

I made it through the weekend on plan! Even with my planned out breakfast this morning, I stayed within my calorie range. Phew!

Had the flat bread pizza for dinner, with some turkey pepperoni on it. I really love that pizza!

Hi,
Had a great day today. Stuck with food plan, went for 2 walks, drank lots of water.

I was down AGAIN on the scales this morning!

I stuck to the plan also! Didnt get the work out in - the last two days killed my shoulder...guess I have to ease in to it more!

NS does seem pretty easy so far and I think the headache that I have had since starting has finally gone away!

Juitsy - WOO HOO...congrats.

Hi everyone! Tried something yummy last night for dinner. Took the chicken patty, and added 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce and 2 tsp of reduced fat cheddar cheese (free foods). Popped it under the broiler and served on a toasted wheat bun (80 calories). It was really good! I do prefer fresh chicken breast, but this was easy.

Default Tuesday!

Hi all:

super hectic crisis day yesterday--forgot to eat and drink water until later. That actually slows my metabolism so no good news there.

Lots to do today--would like to wash my car but I think it is going to rain.

Lori: that BBQ chicken sandwich sounds good!

Sue: great job on sticking to the plan--glad the headache is gone.

juitsy--keep it up--I know you are going to see the results you want!

Have a wonderful 100% nutrisystem day all!

Sno

Wow! Everyone is doing great! Hang in there and we will all make our goals!

I had a well planned and successful day. Logged over 10,000 steps, stayed on plan all the way.

I got my nutrisystem kit in the mail today and I would be so excited if it weren't for the fact that it seems a lot of the meals have fish in it! I can't believe I didn't even look at the ingredients, just figuring there wouldn't be fish in the things like pasta! I'm allergic to fish! Is nutrisystem good with returns? I'm just happy I noticed it before I ate any!

Default Wednesday!

Hi all!

Well my busy days have taken their toll and I am beat today. Will try and keep it mellow and rest as much as possible--but exercise a lot. I think I let myself get too dehydrated on Monday because I have been super thirsty.

grasshopper: dont worry--they are great about returns--call them up and tell them about the description not saying they were sending fish and that you are allergic--they will let you choose some other entrees no problem.

Juitsy: keep it up--10,000 steps sound like a lot!!

Have a wonderful 100% day all!
