Awesome, look forward to more updates.

When I started on Oct. 30, I ended up binging the next day which was Halloween, and then binged again Saturday and Sunday. I think it's good to be a part of this site because we get to be accountable.

I finally got on track last Monday and have been exercising every "weekday" since. I haven't binged on "sweets" like cookies or cakes, but I had one mixed drink on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The reason I'm saying this is that I'm learning that sometimes we can't be perfect and do it exactly the way we planned, but tomorrow is always a new day to do something different. So next weekend I will cut out all alcohol, since that just adds too many empty calories. A little improvement day after day, week after week. Not much weight loss yet, but better habits!

Hang in there and hope you feel better and make it to the gym soon!

I made it to the gym last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Also went today. Down 6lbs., but I'm sure that's water weight. So far I've been doing pretty good with my eating changes.

Good for you!! All it takes is a few changes and you're making the progress you want

Thanks everyone. I'll continue to keep you updated.

Made it today even though I almost talked myself out of it, but my wife talked me into it. I'm glad I did. I feel better now.

Still at it. Didn't get to go yesterday, but I'm down 8 pounds since I started on the 5th. Made some bad eating choices this weekend, but I'm back on track.

Great job, bouncing back from less-than-perfect choices is so key. We all make random choices sometimes that aren't quite what we were aiming for, for whatever reason. The key thing is to not let them color our next choice. Just get right back onto your plan.

Good work!

Talking Good Luck !

Good for you for going to the gym...
That's a great goal...
I have a lifetime membership to LA Fitness that I never use.
But, when I do use it I love going...
Crowds never bothered me at the gym except for when there's a line to use a certain piece of equipment. That's a drag. But, having to work out with a bunch of physically fit people never bothered me. I just keep my eye on the goal. The great thing is, we are all at different levels no matter how fit or unfit we are....
Working out at the gym just makes me feel better...
BUT, whose got the time???

Getting restarted after a hiatus is a great mini-goal - and sometimes it can seem quite daunting. Good for you for not letting the bumps in the road keep you from moving forward. I shall have to adopt this same mindset in my own journey. Kudos!
