Honestly, it was a combination of reading this site starting back in August/September 2013 and financial stress. I'm honestly glad, though, because I now have a much better understanding of the nutritional concepts of the diet now that I have to read labels instead of simply buying food from the restricted vs. non-restricted shelves.
Even now, when finances are not as strained as they were when I first made the switch, I can't see myself buying 100% IP. Sure, there are foods I miss (IP's chocolate drink mix is seriously the best!), but I really struggle with spending that kind of money on food. I will be returning to my clinic when I am ready to switch over to Phase 2, because I want and need the support.

P1, Health Wise
B: bacon and cheese omelet
L: cream of chicken soup, 2 c. Spinach
Snack: orangeade and romaine lettuce
D: leftover sliced roast, 1 c. Spinach and 1 c. Broccoli
Snack: orangeade
My coach has me on 4 packets for now, due to my weight and now that I have been adding walking into the mix. The really nice thing about the orangeade (aside from the fact that I really like the taste) is that it only has one carb. I'll take that any day!

Hey, I've been wondering about the Promasil. What do you think of it?

I only tried it once today, added to much water so it was a bit odd. I am going to try it tomorrow and I will let you know!

Hope you figured out it was pudding before you added it to the broccoli! That would be awful!

Something similar happened to me once... I tried a recipe to make a chocolate pancake from the pudding mix and egg. Unfortunately I somehow did it wrong and ended up cooking a mess of chocolate pudding in my frying pan well mixed with what ended up as scrambled egg in it. Think about eating hot chocolate pudding with scrambled egg in it.
Yes,
never tried the 'pancake' recipe again.
Just thinking about it makes me throw up a little in my mouth.
I also didn't want to waste the $4. It was only breakfast anyhow... so I didn't really care what I ate (although... not quite what I expected.)
