Default Chicken Flavored Patty Mix

I just made these last night (as directed on the non-stick skillet) and brought them to work with me today as a snack. Well I put them in the microwave for 30 seconds and my ENTIRE office stinks. Nobody knows it was me... but yeah just a warning! It's kind of like a funky stew smell.... not the greatest. The patties are OK, something different for today.

Thanks for the warning! I was thinking of cooking at home and bringing to work. Now I will reconsider

In other news, greetings from SOMA!

I cook them and use the crumble on salads etc. after adding spices. I don't think I've successfully made them as a patty. I also use them to stuff mushrooms and bake those...mmmm...

I feel compelled to tell you that these are okay, but totally not delicious. Basically, I smothered them in buffalo wing sauce to make them go down. They are kind of a weird shreded chicken patty. However, if you don't like the soups, they are worth a try. I know people hate them, but I actually prefer the soy patties because they are not such a weird texture (I also used to follow a pretty strict vegetarian diet, so I am used to soy products).

I cannot do these as patties unless I put oil in the pan - cooking spray just does not work. I tried crumbling them into a salad or whatever and actually found I liked them better as patties. I'm still on the hunt for some kind of IP friendly dipping sauce I could have with them.

I think I'll cross these out for now
