mmm the daily craving is in..and today it looks like im craving mint chocolate chip ice cream with bacon.....NO im NOT pregnant...
I know its the strangest combination and i havent even ever tasted the two together..it must be the combination of the salty smoky sweet creamy thing or something.... mmm salty and sweet...gotta love it...
Thankfully in our house, there is neither chocolate chip mint ice cream or bacon..so its not one of those temptations to crack open the tub and try it...
Which by the way, led me to a revelation...im learning that its okay to have cravings..its okay to embrace the idea that cravings exist and to even ponder them, but its just NOT okay to give into them and eat them..I think cravings must just be a part of normal life and that is that...its what we do with our cravings that matter...so..im going to allow myself to continue to crave mint chocolate chip ice cream with bacon...but im not going to even try tasting it...eventually it will pass and i will be a. ok.
I'm not craving anything special, just hungry all the time! Which is unusual, but I just realized my TOM will soon be here. I guess thats why? I'm tempted to have a extra IP pudding or something! If you're gonna cheat might as well be with an extra IP pack!
I wouldn't call that a cheat. A candy bar would be a cheat. If you need to eat have another packet.

The pizza craving could be met with making an egg omlette out of 2 eggs...cooking it till its firm and then spreading a little bit of tomato sauce on top along with some veggies and some ground beef or something like that?? you could use your 1 oz of dairy on an 1oz of low fat mozzerella..
No cheese allowed....i had to watch a bunch of my family wolf down pizza from my favorite place at an anniversary this weekend. I survived and had a wildberry yogurt instead. I know that once im finished the diet i will be able to have some pizza again so it gives me motivation to stay op so i can hit my goal.
Picturing someone stealing a bagel is hilarious!!! All I want is an ice cold beer!!! I have already decided to go off program for MardiGras (yes I live in south Louisiana) because I have friends coming in from all over the nation to play with me for a few days. I will go back on for lent though and "suffer" greatly for my hurricanes!

I use the tomato basil soup to make flatbread, and then put about 2 Tbsp of veggie shreds (soy cheese) on top - I count the cheese as one of my "extras" for the day. You mix the soup mix with 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1 egg white, a little garlic powder and italian seasoning, and just enough water to make it a thick spreadable batter. Spread it into a circle on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 350. Flip it over carefully, and bake for 5 minutes. Add your topping and bake another 5 minutes. It's not perfect, but it usually kills the pizza craving for me!
