Default Theiirrrrrr baaccckkkkk! LOL!

Those nasty little Halloween chocolate bars... you know, the ones that call to you in your sleep!!!

Anyway... I haven't bought any candy for the trick or treaters as of yet - I am just wondering what you ipeeps will be handing out this year?

I was thinking the individually wrapped rice krispie squares... that way I won't be as tempted as I would be with the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, the Oh Henry's that Mars bars, etc....

What will you do this year?

Well, we don't celebrate Halloween so that isn't an issue for me.

Maybe some cute pencils from the dollar store? Little kids love new pencils. And you probably won't munch on them.

Probably fun size bars... I don't get trick or treaters at my house (which I guess makes it easier because the candy will never be in my apartment), but we have a work event, so I can just stick them in the work kitchen if there are any left over. Or give more to the kids at the end. ha.

I don't want to be the lady passing out the toothpaste and dental floss, LOL

I bought the bag with 230 fun size bars, put it in the pantry and haven't even looked at it again. I get a ton of trick or treaters but with it during the school week, they have to be off the streets by 7pm. I'll go through that entire bag in those 4 hours. Lots of kids in my area.

LOL! These are my thoughts! One year we weren't even home for Halloween and we came home to our house having been egg'd! (li'l brats!!!) so I definitely don't want to be that lady again either!

I told my DH that we should get 'candy' that neither of us would want, then take any leftovers to our work places... but really, there is NO candy that we don't like - hence we are on IP! LOL!

If I did that, the first kid to my house would dump the entire thing in his bag!

We leave a bowl out too and no one ever takes it. You'd be suprised how reasonable kids can be!

I went to Sam's and got a box of the GIANT Pixie Sticks to hand out, cheap but big impact and they are so big that there is no way for me to "just sneak one"

no chocolate nor candy corn nor skittles shall pass through my door,

We have a rubbermaid tub with $150 worth of candy. No, I am not kidding. We bought $90 last year and ran out at 7 o'clock. My husband overcompensated as a result. I doubt we will run out this year! It is closed up and out of sight, and I haven't been tempted-- yet.

I don't like candy corn or those halloween colored toffee things, so that's what we'll be handing out. No way I could do any other candy and have to smell it! No way!

I went to Sam's Club and bought boxes of the individually wrapped teddy grahams, goldfish crackers, crackerjacks, and mini oreos and nutter butters. I find it way too easy to pop a piece of candy in my mouth without even thinking about it, so no candy for my house! Plus my boys love having packages of crackers to throw in their backpacks to munch on if the get hungry so I wont mind having any left over!

I still have some in my pantry from last year! I am like...out of sight, out of mind. But those little chocolate bars are like potato chips to me. If I eat just one I am done for. So I don't eat one. So far, so good. I even have some in a bowl at work. I WILL miss digging through my son's bag to get out the bit of honey and stuff though. LOL

Love, love love candy!!! SO this year my hubby is in charge of Halloween. He can decide whether to get the candy and hand it out himself or turn t he light out and pray not to be egged! I might go with the dental floss idea wrapped in Halloween goody bags for the dollar tree!!! In the past I would buy bags of Halloween candy a week before and somehow it would all be gone Halloween day!!! hmmm I wonder who ate it????????
