I'm not sure Gary... She was only around for a little while... We are missing some Sox fans too... Maybe they're on vacation... lol...

New England Little League playoffs are on... I can never get enough of those kids... I love watching them... The way they emulate the big leaguer's... so funny...

Another awful day for the Mets. David Wright our one great player who has managed to avoid the DL this yr got drilled in the head with a 94 mph fastball today. He was down for awhile, scary sight. Luckily the CT-scan was negative, he has a concussion though and is being hospitalized over night. Every time we think this season can't get any worse it does.

And I just saw what happened to Kuroda of the Dodgers. Line drive off of his head. I hope he's ok. What a horrible baseball day.

I saw the hit live with David....

My son and I were at the sports bar when Kurado was hit but that game wasn't on.


I too hope both men are ok.

Reports this morning say both are ok

Saw the hit Kurado took to his head on espn....nasty...scary...

time for pitchers to wear helmets!

I missed a lot of baseball the last couple of days, so I missed the hard hits to the guys.
Looks like I didn't miss much yesterday with the Rockies since they had their game postponed until today. Double header day.

I had a good reason though. My son had football camp. I couldn't stay away from that. Lots of scrimmaging and lots of good hits! LOVE IT!

Mets managed a nice little walk off win today!

They ended up putting Wright on the DL per the recommendations of the doctors, he wanted to play, but trusting the experts is the best way to go. He joins Reyes, Beltran, and Delgado there...amazing by far and away our best 4 position players all on the DL. Wright is I think the 18th Met to land on the DL this yr,and a majority of those guys have been out for months at a time. I'm beginning to think there was some kind of curse of Shea Stadium that was unveiled when they tore down the place

I didn't see any of the dangerous plays, kinda glad, they literally make me ill..
