the 130's thread is alive again. Nice to meet you all here. I last posted in the beginning of August at 138.6 pounds. I proceeded to lose more weight until early September, with my lowest being around 132 pounds. Close to my goal of "just below 130"... Then life intervened/I got complacent/my binge-eating returned/I stopped weighing/all he11 broke loose
The good news is that I just checked and I am about where I was in August -
138.8 pounds. I had imagined far worse. I look pretty bad with the muffin top spilling over all my waistbands again. boooo
So - on the one hand, I have gained nearly 7 pounds and set myself back 4 months.
On the other, more optimistic hand, I have "maintained" under 140 pounds. I'll take it!
Time to stop beating myself up over all my bad eating and lack of exercise. It gets me nowhere except a swan dive into very non-nutritious foods. Time to embrace maintaining under 140 pounds AND give that final push to "getting a few more off." I would like to maintain around 135 pounds and - IDEALLY - closer to 130 but that is becoming a crazy-making goal
so I have accepted that 135 may be more right for me.
I am so happy to find others around my weight to share this journey!!
