Thumbs up Diet/self-help books

Just bought two diet books - I'm a fan of the printed page rather than the DVD or audio book.

One of the Bob Greene ones (Fit to Diet, Live to Diet, Diet to die - no that's not it ) and something called
"The Skinny - How to fit into your Little Black Dress Forever"

It's supposed to be very humorous and lord knows we all need a laugh while doing this, yes?

Dagmar (hoping soon to be )

My mom bought me the book "Eat This, Not That!" by the editors of Men's Health. It is a very interesting book. =) Check it out if you can.

I've gotten a self help book (not necessarily weight loss) called "shut up, stop whining and get a life". Kinda a no nonsense approach on how to change your life. I like a good swift kick every now and then LOL.

I've read a couple by Geneen Roth (about emotional eating). Very good!
I also read an old Bob Green book. The one he made when he was training oprah. I think it was him. I can't remember the name though.
I also found the Secret to be pretty good as well as the Celestine Prophecy.
