When I joined the challenge I didn't really have anything happening on April 1st but now I do! Well March 31st.... I am going to my brother's house for Easter. Most of my family lives near him and I haven't seen them for 5 years. So it will be the first time I have seen everyone since I have lost 86lbs! I hope to say 90lbs by then
Monday is my WI day but I had a tummy bug over the weekend. So, this week's weigh in wouldn't be accrate. Will weigh in and update next Monday. I may check in on Friday, as that will mark the end of my first month.
That's 3lbs down, 13 to go with 6 weeks left? Not looking likely. Maybe I should revise my goal? My weight loss is definitely slowing down, which I suppose is normal. I'll keep it the goal, but would be very happy with 148 on April 1 and finish this by tax day maybe. That would be ironic.

10lbs to go and about 4 weeks, yeah, not going to happen. The 8lbs from above would be nice, but most likely I'll be at 150 on April 1. Fine. I like the challenge but don't get too caught up in these things when they don't happen - assuming that I am losing. If not, then I'd be upset, but it's hard to not be happy about losing weight - even if it's not a much as I wanted. I started this challenge at 161, so being down 6lbs so far is cool and if I make it to 150, that's 11lbs. I'll take it!

I think TOM is getting to me this week, but keeping my head up and moving forward. For once in my life I've completed 2 months of "being healthy" and still feel like I have plenty of willpower left. Usually this is when I give up, but not happening this time!!
TONTUS94-I am excited for you. I can't imagine the feeling of having lost that much and not seeing your family in so long. They are going to be shocked, taking pictures, etc..Have you thought of any makeover things to do before Easter like haircut, highlights, etc? why not go in looking your best? Also the mini makeover could boost your motivation to make it an even 90 or more pounds by then. Best wishes to you!
I started this current challenge at 269. I am now 263!! Goal is 255 for Easter. That is 8 pounds in 4 1/2 weeks. I am stepping up my exercise. (From not really exercising at all to at least 15 minutes a day) Baby steps...
Is it too late to join? My goal for April 1st, when I started my journey (Jan. 28), was 25 pounds.
I have lost 17.6 lbs. and would like to adjust that amount now.
So, I'll say 15.2 lbs. That will get me out of the 250's!
