Another 30 day shred accomplished! Two carrots for me for soing it 30DS D2
This time I did a pre-warm up by cycling for 20 min with my indoor bike (or is it exercise bike?) and my muscles were nice and warm. I have 1 kg weights which are about 2 pounds but they do feel a bit too small. I should get another pair but all in all, the workout makes me sweat enough as it is! I am nowhere perfect as I am, but I love this because you can adjust the workout level to suite your strength perfectly!
doubtingJulia: I've similar problems with my two dogs! Most of the time they are quite content to watch me from the couch but occasionally another wants kiss and hugs and another wants to play with ball.

 Bama! I just "saw" you.
Interesting - when i did it the first time, it was really me in a war against the jumping jacks - i didn't like them, and they didn't like me. I had no idea how anyone could do 25 in a row, never mind more than once. I kept thinking I was just going to collapse. So props to you if you got em right out of the gate!

Just finished Day 2. I still suck at pushups. I'm really living for the day I can pop out a few dozen of those like a commando.

dcapulet- I totally agree with you on those jumping jacks! They were killing me which surprised me because if you had asked me before hand I would have said they would be easy
I just woke up and I am going to do Day 2 later but my arms are so sore from yesterday (I blame the push ups).

ish - a migraine is a darn good reason not to do it! Hope it's gone away today!
D_Red - how was it last night?
valo - Great job!! I'm impressed that you did a 20 minute workout before you started!!
Julia - I can't wait until I can just do them ALL without stopping! And I'm still doing girl pushups.
Rated - SO glad I'm not the only one who is sore!
I just finished breakfast, so as soon as I'm done digesting I'll get at it!

I just finished Day 2 and I feel so good. I think I did a lot better than yesterday since I didn't take as many breaks and I even managed to do the last cardio session (with all 4) without stopping. Hope everyone else is having a good day 2 also.

Just finished Level 1!!!
Today was hard, though, as I did it right after a killer kick-boxing class that was all about arms and abs. Oh man... I think I'll always be doing girl push-ups. My aim is just to be able to do more of them, and smoothly!

I have to say I also totally need to work on my push ups I do feel my arms a bit sore not incredibly I can't move sore but enough to notice. I used 1.5lb weights and did more reps with strength than when I used the 5lb weights. Does anyone else's legs feel super strong? I feel like I can do a power jump or something LOL maybe its just an after exercise energy burst but it feels good tho.
I used to weigh in daily but its my TMO so I decided to only weigh in when it's time to update the spreadsheet. I hope everyone else kicked butt today!

Finished my 3rd day of Level 1 just a second ago... My upper body is less sore-- people were right! Delayed onset muscle soreness goes away with more exercise. Here's hoping that by Day 10 of Level 1 I won't even feel it! Haha

Day 2 DONE! It was easier today, can't explain that, maybe it was the time of day.
Anyone using 2 sets of weights? I use 3lb ones for the squats and lunges, but for everything else I use 5 pounds otherwise I don't feel anything.
I'm excited and scared for day 3 since I have to work a super long day at work running around!

Day 2 was a success much better then yesterday but just as challenging. My Hubby joined me today and he was panting harder then me and he's in shape.
Sidenote: His home in Springfield MA was spared by the Tornado yesterday but his neighborhood is ruined. Were thankful our family is safe.

I'm glad to hear your that your family is safe. I live in Tuscaloosa, AL and we got hit by that really big one a little over a month ago, so I know disasters are hard to handle when they hit home. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts.
Congrats on completing Day 2!
