Default OMGOODNESS. eggs? are u serious.

im sorry but this jus shocked the **** outa me! i've been eating two eggs everyday w/ my special k cereal breakfast to keep me full longer. but you know what? i never knew that one egg had 211 cals & 14.4g of fat! iam so dissapointed & i cannot believe that i was eating this everyday for the last past week. now im confused. why do some people say its good to eat eggs? should i exclude them from my diet? how dumb of me. im new to this calorie intake stuff. all i used to worry about was carbs before.

**eggs.. to eat, or not to eat? THANKS!

What eggs are you eating?! Seriously, a regular large egg is only 70 cals.

Where did you get that calorie count? 1 large egg has about 75 calories and 5 grams of fat.

Ditto. 70 calories for a large egg. I eat an egg along with 2 egg whites several times a week, and I think it's a great source of protein. Maybe you were looking at a calorie count for something like eggs fried in gobs of butter or egg salad with full fat mayo?

Yeah really I don't know where you got that info but it's completely WRONG unless you are adding copious amounts of butter to your eggs!

I eat two eggs a day on the weekends and it's like 180 calories according to my counter.

I agree with everyone else.. eggs are only like 70-75 for a large egg... if you cooked them in butter and topped it off with a ton of cheese then it would be that much... An important thing about calorie counting is getting all areas still in your diet and eggs are a good source of protein :-) Great job so far! Keep it up
