  • Darn it. I was envisioning some lovely recipe for eggs that had lots of butter and cheese!
  • Thank goodness you were wrong cause I love me some eggs! This is a typical scramble for me:

    2 eggs (140) + 1tbsp sour cream (30) + 1tsp olive oil(40) = 211
  • home style Egg Mc Muffin
My favorite NEW egg breakfast.. I found this little gizmo at Walmart.. it is round and open's like a clam shell.. it is the perfect size to make my own egg McMuffin... I LOVE them for breakfast
one whole egg and /or about 1/4 c of egg beaters mix them together I then season them with some onion powder and pepper then into microwave for a about 1 1/2 to 2 min.. it PuFFs way up and looks like Oh no I 'll never get it into a muffin but after it cooks it deflats... ( I usually use one whole egg and add some additional eggbeater to get a higher protein content ))

I then add one slice of Kraft 2% presliced 45 cal cheese and do another 10 sec in the microwave.. All melty.. then add to the Thomas Eng Muffin and there is my really high protein low fat mc muffin.. I do add some canadian bacon at time or meatless breakfast sausage patties to chg it up a bit... it is by far my favorite breakfast and have even used it as a quick evening meal as well.

The calories come in really good and this is sooooo much cheaper to do at home
    75 cal egg
    45 cal cheese
    100 cal English muffin ..

  • *snort* I did do a little panic there from the OP, but now that I know it was miscalculated I'm heaving a sigh of relief. I love eggs. I eat at least two a day hard boiled or scrambled. And Plus Sized, they do help keep you satiated longer in the morning, the protein and fat stick with you for a few hours.
    eggs are love!
  • Way more egg in a cup!!

I have been adding a serving of egg whites to one whole egg when I scramble. I can't tell the difference in taste and it still fills me up!
  • Scared me too! I loves me my eggs!!!
  • I have eggs every single morning for breakfast. Sometimes with homemade ground turkey sausage, sometimes just plain eggs. I don't know what I would do with them.

  • lol im sorry for the misunderstanding everyone! didn't mean to scare you all. i dooo need a calorie counting book, seriously.

but hey, i looked online too- on daily plate.. why'd it say i needed to consume 2,084 calories to lose 2lbs a week! that's seems like sooo much. if i eat about 1,500 a day, is that too low? i don't understand this :\
