Me too, Sue!! Operation Finland is working -- We can do this!! By Labor Day we will be so much thinner and healthier. -- I actually have my annual dr appointment sometime in August (I believe), my doctor will be so happy to see that I have lost 30+ pounds since my last check up. I am looking forward to my bloodwork results. I have never had problem with cholesterol etc. but I bet my numbers are even better.

I was really good yesterday, two days now OP and cravings are starting to go away. We were invited to a party, but declined (because I did not want to eat junk), instead we walked to town -- took 7000 steps -- and watched fireworks.

I follow low carb, although it is my own plan, not Atkins.

I lost 3 lbs on the July 4 challenge. Didn't reach my goal, but 3 lbs is 3 lbs.

Labor Day Goal: 186

Current weight 7/5: 194

pnkrckpixikat Do you use the keto sticks? -- I know I am in keto, because everyone else around me is complaining about my breath

Frannie57 I am a night time eater too, which has really done a number on me within the past few months. Now i cut it out completely, I have just gone to bed.

The Whoosh Fairy is visiting me as well; another 1.6 pounds of bloat gone.

I injured my knee a few months back and step aerobics were very painful, so I took some time off. I woke up early for the Sunday's step class and to my disappointment the class has been cancelled for the summer. So I hopped on treadmill and walked 3.5 miles in 45 minutes.

I will walk the pup later and mow the lawn; I will get a good amount of walking in today,

Sum - I have them and but I rarely use them. I figure if my macros are in line I am probably good. I mostly use them after cheating to see when I get back into ketosis.

I am going to jump start my weight loss with the 14 days Induction. The Induction phase is difficult for me with the withdrawal symptoms of headaches, tiredness, etc. But, I need to see a loss of that scale to get me motivated.

Wannaskipandlaugh
Congratulations of the weight loss!

Sum
Congratulations on losing 1.6 lbs! Your doctor should be really impressed with your loss. The last few visits to my doctors office, I have been gaining. I will be happy at my next appointment I have a loss.

Protein snacks: Tuna packages, olives, cheese (check carb contents).

Littlebumblebee - good luck with induction!!! Beef broth or chicken broth always helps me with keto adaption. if I start feeling headachey or whatever I heat up a cup and it helps. I also add a tablespoon of cream cheese and some sort of spice mix. i don't think cream cheese is on induction though so idk if you want to add that. if so it is easiest to get it melty first then add the broth and heat.

Frannie57 Cutting the sweets out was the hardest for me. I try to avoid them completely. If I give in, I crave for more. Good luck I know it is really hard!! -- My DH travels weekly, and I miss him a lot and used to eat out of loneliness and boredom. Then I started working out at night; that curbs my appetite and gives me something to do. Tonight, for instance, I have no formal exercise planned, but I will walk my pup for 5 miles. Do you have option of working out at night? Trust me; after a good sweat session, one does not want to "ruin" all the hard work by eating

littlebumblebee Good luck with the Induction Phase! We are here to support you! Come to 3FC's if you feel like slipping.

pnkrckpixikat
I hope you remembered to weigh in this morning -- I am sooooo addicted to my scale that the only time I avoid it when I KNOW that the number would totally devastate me.

Another nice weigh in! I have lost 5.6 pounds since last Monday! ALL BLOAT! -- Now let the actual weight loss commence! I wish all weight loss was this easy, I would be at goal in 3 weeks But the hard work is about to begin.

I was so bummed out yesterday; my step class I was going to try to do, was cancelled for the summer. I guess people do not want to be working out at 9:15 am on Sunday mornings. -- So I walked on treadmill for 45 minutes; 3.5 miles. I did get my heart rate up and a good sweat going. I walked over 8 miles yesterday, because I took my pup for a nearly 5 mile walk at night too. Total steps were 24000

Today is my fast day, 500 calories will be taken in at dinner time. Plus I will have coffee with cream for lunch. So total cals will be around 600. -- I volunteer for a local hospital every Monday, so fasting is easy; I have no opportunity to eat anyways whist I am there. I sit at the Information desk, so I can not be eating and directing And I am usually really busy guiding people where they need to go. I love my volunteer job!
