hello everyone
im finally down 3 pds! ive been battling lately with my scale. its been bouncing back and forth. but its headed in the right direction now. down 3 12 to go for the challange. i will prolly need till then to get this weight to budge.

I would love to join this if it is not to late! I just started atkins on sunday and have already lost 2lbs.

I'd love to join too

I started Atkins a little over two weeks ago and have lost 11 pounds (yay).

Starting weight: 171
Current weight: 160

I moved on to OWL this week and weight loss seems very slow as I got used to losing 1-2 pounds daily, and so far this week I haven't lost any. But I've also been bad and did cheat twice...well, at least now I know my CCM is at least 40 lol

I'm hoping to be down at least another 5 pounds by the 4th of July, but 10 would be marvelous. My reward to myself will be a new swimsuit and a promise to wear shorts if it's hot (I usually I make myself suffer in jeans even when it's hot as heck).

Hi all,
I've decided to transition off of low carb. I've spent the past two weeks slowly increasing my carb intake, and slightly lowering my calorie intake. I'm always going to keep an eye on carbs, but switching over to strict calorie counting will allow me to enjoy my favorite food in the world (good, hoppy beer) in moderation. I'll also be able to eat with my partner more often, which will make our relationship better.

I feel like I've beat my sugar addiction, and my life is much better for it

I know it has been a while since you posted this but wanted to put it up for anyone else, if your spray had prednisone or if you take prednisone in a pill form, it does indeed cause weight gain, and well overall puffiness for lack of a better way to describe it. It does reduce localized swelling though which is probably why it was in the spray to reduce swelling of the nasal passages. The good thing with it, is often it is very effective at helping you get over your illness. It is one of those take the good with the bad I guess. Hope that helps in case you have to take it again!

And now, can I get in on this? I have stopped and started so many times it isn't even funny. I lost 63 pounds on Atkins several years ago. Since then several surgeries and it has all crept back. Now, I have one of those celebrity cruise things coming up in Nov and I really want to not hate how I look in shorts and tank tops! You know what I mean?
Okay so I am at 236 today. Today is day 2 of induction for me. I have been faithful! Induction is crazy hard for me. I forgot to mention I am also celiac. So I avoid flour but it's the corn and potatoes that get me. Sigh. So here I am. I normally only weigh once a week, I may do so more frequently to keep me going and know how I am doing with induction. Good luck all! And I am definitely going to use this thread to make myself accountable to someone!

Good job! Just a little update. According to my ketostix I am in ketosis! Woot! That is wonderful news! I feel much better today! Wish me luck. I am extremely motivated this time. I hope it sticks!

...Morning everyone...Looks like everyone is doing good.....ive lost 10 lbs so far......I fell off plan a couple times..But still hangin on..congrats to everyone...looking forward to seeing the next 10 lbs gone....Got to stay focused...

Good for you Candy! I have such a very hard time getting back on once I go off. I had a family reunion today and managed to not eat one single thin off plan! Woot. No weight loss yet. Did really expect any. I also think my scale is not great but whatever. Still in ketosis! So all good!
