Hello all! I have a question about SBD and sushi. Can the two ever be happy together or am I going to have to sacrifice my sushi? Pre-SBD I didn't eat it that much at all......maybe once every 6 months or every year. My sister and I are doing SBD and sushi has been sounding good lately. Any thoughts? Would love all/any input you may have!
Thanks!

Sushi is my favorite. I like it more than chocolate.

The white rice makes it SBD unfriendly. If it is made with brown rice, then it's ok.. Me, I'll probably get :frypan: for saying this, if it's white rice and the total amount of rice in it is pretty minimal, I would have it as a treat ... here's some info from the Good Carbs/Good Fats book: All are 1/2 cup portion
Risotto/Basmati/White long grain = "limited"
Brown/ White long grain converted type/Wild = "good"
Brown Quick Cook/Glutinous/Jasmine/Instant white = "avoid"
Limited/Very Limited / are not defined.. Dr A appears to leave it up to each of us depending on how much weight we need to loose, metabolism, and how each responds to the food.

sashimi is the one without the rice, right? I can't ever keep it straight. Of course, my favorite are the seaweed rolls . . . with rice of course!

Spicy tuna rolls are my favorites. Love dragon rolls (eel) too.
