Yes, it definitely takes planning ahead. I make a weekly menu, put it on my computer, and then make my shopping list from that. Then I don't have to wonder what we're having for dinner that night - I already know. I eat leftovers for lunch a lot and hot cereals and/or crustless pumpkin pie for breakfast. See the Core Recipes sub-board for a lot of great recipes. Core eating takes more time cooking, and hardly any convenience-type foods, but it is very healthful. The first few weeks are quite an adjustment, but once you finally "detox" your system, it will feel good to eat the Core foods. In fact, I had some pie over Thanksgiving (saved up points for it) and thought I was going to be sick from all the sugar!
