Had a very rough run today. Had to stop after 5, then come home, shower and run another 6. I hope my UC isn't starting to kick up again.

Yesterday I walked 1 mile and did 40 minutes of aquafit. Today I walked 2 miles. I have been walking 2-3 times a week. It is exausting and painful but I am tired of lying around. I am not any worse than before so I figure I might as well go for it.

Shelley keep going girl or I will catch up....lol

I'm not gonna post here Dee if you keep saying that dirty four letter word! We had frost yesterday morning so that means snow is just around the corner.

Gayle your weather is similar to ours because we are in line with you except being further north we have cooler weather. I think that our summers are usually hotter than yours but I am not sure. You would have to tell me what the average temp you have for summer. I think that your seasons are longer for warmer weather. Spring is earlier and fall is later for you. Wayt to go. Keep walking.

Dee, we do seem to have a longer Summer and shorter Winter then you. Right now, our average temps range anywhere from the 30's to the 50's, even in the 50's, you can still feel the chill in the air. Summer time is HOT, HOT, HOT! We can go over the 100 degree mark on several days. August is usually our hottest month and averages high 90's - 100+. We also have alot of humidity, so that seems to make it hotter and muggier. I don't even want to discuss Winter! BLEACH! EVERYTHING IS BLISTERING COLD AND THE WIND BLOWS LIKE CRAZY!

happy to be here shelly!

just got thru with ab sculpt,
its 24 min.ab and core work.
my back is realy feeling better,cant believe the pilates was just what i needed i can tell a diff when i did this w/o.
i also did 33 min.upper body sculpting.
it was tough.
i used the 10 pound dumbells to do the pushups cuz my wrist is so weak,i can do em slowly but hey...
used 3-5-7 pound weight for upper body.
tonite it will be pilates again!

I am pledging right now to putting my heart into exercising and logging ALL of the month of November. I won't be able to put in the miles like you girls do, but it is a start. I figure I can always up my miles, I just want to get into the habit of doing it and logging the info.

Gayle-Getting into the habit is the most important part as far as I am concerned. Once it becomes a habit, the mileage will automatically add up easily.

Listen to me give advice. Guess who didn't run today?? I just didn't want to.

Gayle we are both starting at square one. While your goal may not be 100 miles a month I am sure that you could do 30 miles. Two miles every second day or one mile a day. I was once up there with Shelley but am not sure if and when I will ever get back there. It breaks my heart because I really do exercise. Do you love it to Shelley or is it a tough commitment? Shelley isn't it nice to have some action on this thread? After I stopped walking you were all by your lonesome for a long time.

I am thrilled to have action going on here! I didn't go today again because I started getting a migraine. Tomorrow night I will be at school for the Fall Festival, but Saturday I will be going at least 10, hopefully!
