I love a good soundtrack when I'm working out but sometimes I need a good distraction.
My favorite audiobook is I am Legend by Mattheson (narrated by Dean). Each chapter ends of a cliffhanger so I was always looking forward to my next workout. Plus, it was a really intense story so I never thought about how much time was left on the treadmill.
Me Talk Pretty One Day by Sederis is also FANTASTIC. hilarious. Great if you want to laugh during your workout.
I LOVE audiobooks. Some recent favorites have been The Unnamed by Joshua Ferris, Under the Dome by Stephen King (it's not one of his horror novels, just suspenseful) and The Photograph by Penelope Lively.
Oh I just listened to Bob Harper's book The Skinny Rules while I ran my 5K at lunch. So fun! Well, Bob Harper reading the phone book would be great soooo it made the time fly by!
