I love love love a wildberry smoothie...but I've never made it with coffee before. How'd it turn out?
I am starting my day with a good ol' chocolate drink in my coffee.
For lunch, I think a big salad is in order: lots of romaine, red leaf, purple cabbage and cukes. I will add about an ounce of my protein to this salad: greek meatballs.
And I will drink a peach/mango drink that my husband opened inadvertantly this morning, thinking it was a chocolate drink. Wasn't he a sweetie to make my coffee for me?
Dinner, I haven't sorted out yet. Maybe rockfish topped with a compote of onions, pickles, capers, and sundried tomatoes. And some sauteed collard greens.
Evening snack: decaf coffee with a vanilla rtd and cinnamon added.

It's actually not bad! I was SOOOOO worried when I poured in that packet - but the berry flavor is pretty strong, I actually can't taste the coffee or the caramel. I just ripped it open and dumped it in - as soon as I smelled the berries I had an 'oh $hit' moment, but it turned out pretty good. I am a chocolate junkie though - so will still be going back to the old standby!
Breakfast: butterscotch shake with 1 c. romaine, coffee and 1 c. ice..
Snack: chocolate RTD with celery on the side
Snack: 1/2 pack of strawberry wafers... I didn't want to have it, but I have been dizzy today, thought it was my blood sugar but we think its my blood pressure.
Lunch: 2 oz hamburger meat, 2 T. walden farms 1000 island, lettuce, diced onion and pickles. Yes, big mac in a bowl. SO GOOD!
snack: 1/2 caramel bar
Dinner: 5 oz pork, wf barbeque sauce, mixed greens, cucumber and portabella mushroom, oil, vinegar and mustard dressing

At the hospital with my mom so VERY odd eating schedule.
5:30am--2 hb egg whites
9am--chocolate pudding poured into my coffee. I had to add more coffee numerous times to thin it down.
12pm--Big salad in cafeteria
4pm--chocolate soy puffs
6pm--baggie of veggies and grilled chicken breast from cafeteria
Not sure about a snack later...
**where can I buy frozen rhubarb? I can't seem to find it at either of my big grocery stores in town.
I get it frozen year round at a local Texas grocery chain (H-E-B Central Market), and they have it fresh right now. But I know several folks in NJ and CT have reported Whole Foods has it frozen. Call ahead before driving around town!

Thanks LizRR I am in CT and missed Rhubarb season...which is a shame because my hubby is a farmer and grows it!
