Default New here!

Hello everyone! I'm new to forums and pretty shy so bare with me here!

My name is Jess I'm 22 years old. 5 months ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Lillian. Even though I'm so happy with my life, my amazing husband, and my healthy daughter, I'm not happy with myself and I'm ready to change that. My whole life I've struggled with my weight and I was right where I wanted to be before I became pregnant. I gained 70 pounds during my pregnancy and lost 30 of it pretty much within two weeks after birth. I still want to lose around 55 pounds.

I'm ready to make this journey, as I was successful before I'm just scared because my body is so different now that it wont happen. My weight has put me down so much these past couple of months and I need this change.. not only for me but for my daughter and my husband (who love me no matter what) I have a great support team I'm just not sure where to start. This friday I'm going to check out a local gym for a membership.. anyone have any good gym exercise routines that you use on a daily basis? I basically used to do 55 minutes of cardio a day and it worked in the past.. Not sure what will work now with all of this extra flab lol.

Please tell me a little about you all! I'm here to make friends on my journey as well!!

Hi Jess! Welcome & congrats on your baby!

I don't have much advice as far as gym routines. I've actually never been to one. I simply use online videos, my elliptical, dumbbells, resistant bands & exercise ball to get what I need. I just need to actually put them to use?

I am currently 310, classified as obese & hoping to get down to 170. I know it will be a long journey, but it can be done.

Good luck!
