I'm barely hanging in at 259. I've had some gain this past week. I've been eating OK, but I'm having some pretty significant swelling, so I hope it's mostly that.
I've got a Dr's appt at the end of the month to get some blood work done. My mom and sister both have deficient thyroids, and I'm wondering if that's my problem.
I like going to the gym too QuillysQuest. I joined the Y which is walking distance from my apartment so I get the extra benefit of walking to and from it every time I work out. I tend to just jog around the track though, but I am going to start resistance training next week.
I totally relate to retaining water weight! As it gets warmer I seem to be retaining more water. No matter how much I watch my sodium I am always retaining water. Oh well, at some point it will leave I hope!
Hooray! Today I met a mini-goal! I've lost 10% of the weight that I need to lose to meet my goal. That puts me at 254.8 today.. the 240's better watch out!
I'm on week 2 of C25K and the 90 second run killed my ankle a bit today. But I did it! I've also got zumba dvds today. However I've also got a nasty abcess in a not exercise friendly place so it occasionally gives me a stab of agony to let me know I probably shouldn't be doing this. I also have some serious antibiotics that are giving me an upset stomach so food is not good right now.
How is everyone doing today? I am in the mood to work out today. My body is retaining water, so I am definitely not going to step on a scale today. Congrats blinkworks on the 10%! Congrats wannabthickchickk, your loss is awesome!
I have to avoid processed foods too MEH1969. I can't eat any white flour, sugar or processed foods (unless i want to be morbidly obese for the rest of my life....).
How is everyone doing this morning? I woke up in a bad mood (relationship issues) but it is gone now. I used to be a big morning eater, but I am not even hungry. It's my TOM so I won't get on the scale but I would love to hear how everyone is doing.
Well, I am pms'ing really bad, and I am retaining so much water that I couldn't even get my rings on this morning. So, I am not going near a scale for a few days. I can totally relate to anyone who is having bloating issues!
