Talking Joined WW yesterday!

So I started WW yesterday. I went out to lunch with a friend on Wednesday and totally overate. I felt sick to my stomach and it made me soooo sleepy. I ate an appetizer, heavy entree and I drank 3 glasses of water. I went home and felt so disgusted with myself. So I decided that this time I'm GOING to lose weight for health, energy and just to feel good about myself. I have tried the WW online trial about a two months ago and it was okay, but I need more accountability. I decided that I would do the month pass so that I can attend meetings and actually have some outside accountability. I really enjoy this forum because it helps to motivate me and know that I'm not alone in my weight loss struggle. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

Start over again with your NEXT BITE> That's what our leader says. Sometimes I have to remember this at EVERY meal.... especially when my tapeworm (aka appetite) is raging.

I'm sorry about the slip up, I know that feeling of disappointment. You can't let that one bad meal wipe you out, though. Count it up as best as you can, take it from your weekly points and move on! It probably isn't going to be the last time you slip up, but hopefully it will stick with you a while and keep you on the straight and narrow. If you continue to slip up, it might be time to take a better look at the big picture, but for now - back in the saddle!

Jennifer 3FC~Thanks for the advice. I started this past Friday and have been tracking everything I have eaten. I haven't "slipped" up. I'm trying to hold myself accountable. Plus, it feels good to not exceed my daily points too!

LitChick~Thanks for sharing your story on the forum you have helped to motivate me! I track everything and I enjoy it too! I have the calculator on my phone and I have the WW calculator. I'm feeling good about this.

KimberlyP~Thanks! You are an inspiration around here! Can't wait til I see some results!
