Default Need Some Help!!!

Hi I am a new poster here and I need some info. I purchased the WW at Home system last year and never used it. I have decided to begin on Monday but I have lost the papers where the required number of points based on weight was listed..can anyone post these for me? I have the books with the food points listed just missing that one piece of info.

Thanks!!

Hi. Apparently, WW has updated their points system, and I only have the old one. I'm still using it. I think you actually get more points on the new program.

Here you go:

Less than 150 20pts
150-174 22
175-199 24
200-224 26
225-249 28
250-274 30
275-299 31
300-324 32
325-349 33
350 or more 34

I hope that helps. I think the new plan has some sort of formula to figure points. I'm not 100% sure.

ON WW online, there is a quiz to take that will determine your points based on your weight and activity level. I re-take my quiz after every weigh-in tracking day. Go figure - if I sit most of the day, I can have 24 points - but if I'm up walking around and some sitting - I can have 26. Hope this helps

Hmmmm, do they charge for this test? If so I'm gonna have to stick with the old way as posted in post #2. Why fix what's not broken, hehe! I got serious about this a couple of weeks ago and I am losing 2.2 lbs a week. I seem to be right on schedule with my goals.

I do the WW online and my points are slightly higher than what is listed. I know on the questionaire they ask how active you are in your occupation. I do a lot of walking at work so I think they figure that into the calculation. My daily points is 32. I weigh 228. Since I was on WW before I tend to use the 28 range.

Red face the new weight watchers , how to find how many points you get

Hey here is the points system for female you get 2 pts ,for male 8pts ,for nursing mom 12pts then add how old you are 17-26= 4pts,27-37= 3pts,38-47=2 pts,48-58= 1pts, over 58= o pts.take the first 2 digits of your weight in pounds. how tall you are ,under 5' 1" you get 0pts,5' 1"to 5' 10"you get 1pts,over 5'10" you get 2 pts,if you spend your day sitting you get 0 pts, occastionally sitting but mainly standing you get 2pts(salesperson,housewife,cook,teacher),doing physically hard work most of the time 6pts(nurse,gardener,construction worker). now add the points up and thats what your daily points are. remember the more you loose you have to recaculate.for exe. i am a woman that is 2pts i am 36 yrs old thats 3pts,i way 223 thats another 22pts, i am 5'9" that is 1 more pt, i am a cook at a high school so that is 2 more pts my total is 30 pts a day.But as i loose it will drop down. I hope this helps, pam
