Default Weigh-in at home 3/26 - 4/1

Hi all - sorry for starting the thread late.

I did not weigh in this week - I was in bed, sick again with bronchitis! No activity (unless coughing counts) and I've been trying not to get into "woe is me" eating. Most times I've been successful, not always. But, as my leader says, progress not perfect.

I called the pulmonary doctor on Saturday - I was feeling pretty awful. I'm on a new, targeted antibiotic and the steroids again because the wheezing started up again. I went to work yesterday, left early to get to the doctor's and am at home sick today. I do feel a bit better today but when I looked in the mirror this morning my face looked bloated - must be the steroids. The scale was frightening - probably a combination of sodium, steroids and not the best eating. I decided the only thing I can do is deal with today so I am going to make it a great Core day. I do best on Core when I still record what I'm eating (which I haven't done the last few days although I did add up the Weekly Points I used) so my plan for today is to write down everything, make sure I get all the food groups in and only eat when I am hungry. So far, so good.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Just focus on getting better and you will. Mind over matter as my mom says.
I weighed myself today and I'm officially down 5 pounds! I even got my cute little sticker thing on my weight tracker on Weight Watchers website! I'm so proud of myself! 5 pounds in a month might not be a big improvement to anyone but to me, it's amazing!!
