My DH was not interested in football because he said he'd rather play than watch. It was one of the things that endeared him to me in the beginning of our relationship. I can't remember when it changed, but it's since we moved to the Indy area. I think the guys he works with chided him about it, but now he drives me nuts - not only with the watching, taping and re-watching, but he talks to me about it! I try to be polite and act like I'm interested, but Super Bowl Sunday is a relief, to say the least.

Hi Robin, Hi Cindy! I will buy EFL eventually, but not my priority right now. But I would like to know what's in the shrimp scampi?

Dip - hey don't forget to watch SATC tonight!

Scampi is made with shrimp, butter buds, white wine (or chicken broth), pepper, lemon, lf parmesan and parsley. Served over ww penne. Looks pretty simple and good. I can give you details if you like.

Thanks! Cindy. I was wondering what to use for a butter replacement. I don't have Butter Buds onhand, but use a shake on flavored powder and Can't Believe Spray. I'll see if I can garlic up the chicken broth (FF of course), add the other spices, and get the butter powder to blend in while heating, then add the shrimp. I'll play around with it today because shrimp is definitely on my menu this afternoon.

Oops, almost forgot that I did watch SATC while on the treadmill. Is it just me or is it not as good since this is the last season?

Thanks again,
dip

I don't know dip - I have really been enjoying it this season? I have cried during almost every episode, there are so few left now.

My getaway was picture perfect. It was just glorious and gave me so much to go on now that I am home. AND, food was ok. I weighed last night when I got back and actually came back at the same weight as I left. That may be a first. We had treats but also were very active. I did stay away from the sweets.

We hiked and I practiced my yoga while we were gone. The trails were on high mountains w/ fabulous overlooks.

Happy to see Feb. the first of a new month.
