Good Morning. keep rocking it everyone, I dont have time to comment on all i would like to ... missy those lbs will disappear as quickly as the came!

Mixed it up yesterday, tapered meal sizes from large to small, was thinking that adjustment will help Thursday when i can't eat, because of colonoscopy on Friday> But woke up feeling undernourished this morning. I quickly ate some chicken had a banana and H2O, back to normal now.

Did that banana ever taste good, 1st time something sweet this month, tasted like a sweet tart!

The one thing I did learn is tomorrow make sure I consume enough calories that i feel good Thursday , so in that respect I guess this little trail and error was a good thing

Pamela, I got the idea to try the Slow-Carb diet from the Tim Ferriss book. He also has a blog. Here's a link to it: http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog...se-100-pounds/

I wanted to try this because I personally found it too difficult to go very low carb. I do need to keep my carbs under 100g I think to lose weight.

Thanks Jacqui. I kept my carbs at around 100g yesterday, but I guess the hormones etc are making me keep the water. I will remind myself what you said regarding gaining actual pounds. I'm pretty grumpy this morning because of the scale, so that reminder is useful. Maybe the SlimQuick, and careful monitoring of carbs and sodium today will help with results.

Gary, you are just killing those numbers! Good for you! : And great idea figuring out what works best for you before your procedure on Friday!

Missy, hormones can definitely cause water weight gain. Try not to feel too discouraged. You got this!

This exactly what I've been doing since I started on this journey on Jan 6th. I didn't know there was any book (the 4 Hour Body Diet) and will look it up. So far, it has been great as I've not had any craving and have had more energy than usual. I just read on one of the posts that fruit is not permitted…and, I do eat fruit. Hopefully it will not bog me down too greatly. Congratulations to all on the fantastic weight loss successes! ;-)

Hi Calypso! I'm so glad to hear this diet is working for you! It looks like the fruit hasn't impeded your progress so far, and if it's not causing you cravings, I sure don't see a problem with it! BigJoe who posts here is adding fruit also. Feel free to join us! We have a really nice supportive group of people on this thread. Of course, we are about to switch over to thread 2 because 3FC will be shutting this one down soon, because it is at 500 posts. We'd love to have you!

Okay, y'all I'm heading over to Thread 2: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/othe...hread-2-a.html. Look for my replies there!
