I made 6 raspberry jellys w/rhubarb assembly line style, was so upset when I couldn't find the rhubarb at first! Its my faux fruit fix...the weekend was productive and OP!

I made these last week. They tasted okay, so I made extra and took a Tupperware full to school for a snack. Bi mistake, they smelled so horrible even in a tupperware and in my closet. I finally had to put them in the garbage outside. Moral to the story, eat them right away

Hi all,
I am going to start IP tomorrow and am super excited.. I have over 100 pounds to lose so I will be on it for awhile but I am ok with that.. this has been such a great resource for me to read and check out thanks so much. I live in the seattle area and am a substitute teacher/ massage therapist... so I can create my own schedule. I took off this week so I can get myself settled in this diet as well as deal with any side affects from it!

I just did something I never thought I'd do - I took a shot of grapeseed oil. I realized I hadn't had any oil at all today and that was the quickest way to get it taken care of.

It was kind of gross, but I'd take it over tequila any day! Not that that means much because I really don't like to drink, and tequila smells like dirty feet anyhow. lol

It worked. I bought into it. I measured one 10 against an 8 and it was smaller so I'll just have to try on stuff each day and go with what fits. It's fun though. Now, I want new clothes. I bought some make up yesterday. And I need to get the hair done soon.

I just wanted to offer a suggestion...do you have a cool mist humidifier? If you do, park yourself right by it and let it work its magic! Once we started using a cool mist humidifier, we threw away all cough syrups and cold medicines (with one exception: 4 Way nose spray, so good for stopping the drips which contribute to coughs.) I hope you feel better soon!

Thank you for the suggestion, I do not currently own a cool mist humidifier, but it sounds like it might be worth purchasing one. Will definately look into it. Thanks again!

Congratulations! I did it, and have lost 145 pds! It's great that you have taken the time to prepare and have a productive mindset - that's what it takes. I found that journaling helped as well, as this can be quite an emotional journey, and examining all aspects of my behavior and thinking is an on going process.

Good luck to you and welcome!

The fillets are pretty thin if you measure it frozen it will be close to 8oz or a little over, which again is still ok ...this of course is what I DO, I am no expert by no means, just sharing how I do things
Thanks so much for the info. That is kinda what I have been doing, but wanted to check.

Default Just finishing my second week

Hi:

I started at 315 lbs.......I have been on weight watcher 4 times....never made it to goal.

At my first weight on IP I lost 12.4 lbs and 7 inches. I find this easy to follow and for the most part the meals are good.

My goal weight is 165. I would of course like to get to 135.

I drink a lot of crystal light. Lot of lettuce and I am using good season dressing.

I have heard good thing about Walden Farms......What are your thoughts....

What are some good recipes that you are using?
