I think the biggest reason at the moment that I cant wait to get to goal weight is to be able to shop!! I used to work for Christian Dior in NYC for many years and then worked with the president of Nautica for a few years after that, I have always been around fashion and designers.
Ten years later, and many pounds and a move to pennsylvania leaves me in tears today. I have lost enough weight to go down to an 18 comfortably, maybe even a 16. I have some big parties coming up for events that i am involved in and that my husband is involved in and I am desperately looking for something to wear! I dont care what it costs at this point, but all the plus size clothing is just so ....blah! I want something funky and cool I dont want to look frumpy anymore when i get really dressed up! I saw something i liked it was a kimono dress in beautiful coral and black, really nice and thought it would look great on, but of course cant find any such thing in my size. I checked out all the plus size places like layne bryant and dress barn but they just arent cutting it. Are there any plus size designers anywhere that you all know of!! Jeeze just because we are bigger doesnt mean we dont want to look fabulous!!

And I have heard of Torrid but never checked out their site, its great! I know about fovever21 but thats more for every day!
