Hi everyone. I've been reading and lurking here for several days and I'm ready to jump in. I'll be starting on Monday. I'll probably be coming here often with questions.
You are all doing so well!
See you on Monday!!!!

Hi Ramona!! WELCOME!!

2BFit1-Thanks! This weekend may actually be EASIER since it has cooled down here!! I'll have more energy to cook the right things and to MOVE!!

Meg-YUP! I am a nut fanatic. I tried measuring out 30 into a little bag, but find I eat more when the rest of the family has them. I'm okay with everything else, so I'll need to do what you are doing-JUST use them in recipes!! Too bad about the rolls. When you are planing for a treat and it doesn't work out it is REALLY disappointing! I like the idea of a South Beach oriented restaurant, but you are right! It probably wouldn't be popular enough to succeed!! (Really though, why not? A nice piece of grilled salmon with a side of WW pasta mixed with asparagus and a salad would be a FANTASTIC MEAL! And they could judt give you extra asparagus and cut the pasta for Phase 1!!!)

HI!! To everyone else, and have a fantastic weekend!!!

YAY Den! Congratulations Chick!

I'm staying and really feel good but this morning I hadn't lost - think maybe it's not enough water consumption b/c otherwise I haven't had a drop of wine and no carbs.

I'm happy for you! You must feel grrreat!

Blessings + hugs,
ANNA

Hello!

WTG Den!!!... It gets easier every day!

Welcome Mzbhavin!... You'll really love it here on the "Beach"

Opera...Hang in there, it will work. I am a very slow loser and to prove it I'll tell you that I am starting week #8 tomorrow and I have lost 9 pounds. I actually think that is great for me...I am happy with that as long as it keeps going in the right direction. Clothes feel better and I think I look a little better for it!!

Have a great SBD week everyone!!!

Well, my book has not yet arrived but Amazon says it has shipped so I'm beginning tomorrow after printing the food plan from Prevention.com and doing some shopping today.

I'll be doing a daily check in!!

WOW! This forum is really growing. Nice to see so many people on the SBD. I've done two weeks of Phase 1 twice now but as soon as I start adding back carbs I get ferocious carb cravings that I just can't resist. It's frustrating but I guess I'm gonna have to stay on Phase 1 forever.
