took a break from work & went for a motorcycle ride with DH. Stopped for a snack, got a diet Coke (real treat), and peanuts. Only ate 1/2 of the package of peanuts (130 calories). Said I might eat the rest tomorrow - DH said I was weird... but the 1/2 package was plenty.

Went out to dinner tonight at our normal Japanese place. Instead of my usual Americanized sushi (slathered in wasabi mayo and the like) I had a seafood dish that was very healthy. And- I didn't order dessert.

Thanks I try to do 60 minutes on my cardio days and 30-45 on my weight days, it helps boost my mood and curb depression

I worked out today and yesterday even though I slipped on ice and fell squarely on my rear yesterday. Ouch! I guess I am glad it hurts to sit so I forced to stand! Lol

My husband (who is an excellent cook) made a delightful quinoa pasta with three kinds of sauteed mushrooms & sauce for lunch at my mother-in-law's house yesterday. But ONE serving of the pasta has 45g of carbs.

I had a plain salad instead.

Today after 11 minutes on the elliptical, the fire alarm went off at the gym, the whole building was evacuated...you know, my first reaction wasn't "fire!" it was "damn $%^%##%, I won't get my workout today, this sucks"....so I left the gym with all the other sweaty women and got into my car with every intention to pout and eat my anger away when I got home.

But I matured a little on the ride home, lol...did a 45 minute yoga workout and had my yogurt.

I wonder why it was an "all or nothing" mindset.
