Hi gang!! I did the 2 Mile Power Walk With Friends this morning and used the 2# weights. No pain in my neck/shoulders!! Interestingly though, my knee swelled and stiffened up over the weekend (probably our damp weather and all the standing I did), but once I get it moving, it's good.

3 Mile Walk Away Your Waistline w/ belt. I still do not see how this is supposed to help the waistline....but I'll keep doing it.

Did the 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk this morning, but backed off to one pound weights. Upper body a bit sore again.

Yesterday - 3-Mile Weight Loss Walk with 3 pound weights

This has been a tough week. My mother fell and suffered a compression fracture to her back and my three-year old grandson is having surgery at this moment to remove his tonsils. I am taking care of my mother now and will be going to take care of my grandson all next week. I guess I need to pick up a nurses outfit.

Wow, Toonses! Don't forget to take care of yourself, too. Want to borrow some of my scrubs??

I did the 3 Mile Walk Away Your Waistline this morning.

Thanks Annie. I think my husband wants another type of nurses outfit. Ha Ha.

My grandson's surgery went well and he is at home resting. My brother and I are taking turns watching my mother and the rest of the family will start helping her as well. I am definitely taking care of myself.

I didn't get to sleep until after 11:30 last night, so I didn't "Walk Away" anything this morning....I slept in an hour. I'll try to work in some exercise this weekend. I haven't been doing that and think it might help me to get back to losing.

Hi all...

Last time I was on here was back in December when I started my new job. With the long hours I just did not think I could find time to exercise. Also was not eating the way I know I should be. So I have gained back some weight. Probably 6-7 lbs.

I am now ready to get back in the routine of exercising. But of course it will be starting from scratch again. So today I did the 1 mile walk with warm up and cool down. I will do this probably a week or so before I bump it up to 2 miles. Don't know if I can make time for any more than that. I get up at 4:45am and don't get home most days till 6:15pm. But I am bound and determined to squeeze some exercise in there.

Nice to see everyone is still here...
I miss the encouragement I received on here...

Will you take me back?

Leann
