I'll bump this for you, since I don't remember the numbers. Maybe someone else can answer this one?

I eat about a gram of protein per pound of body weight. My macro-nutrient ratios are about 40/35/25 )protein/carb/fat). I lift heavy 5-6 days/week and do cardio 5 days per week.

People can argue about this for days....

Good point, Mel... I've heard/read anywhere between a half gram to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight... I still don't know the right answer, so I just go with what works for me... about .75 gram/lb/day...

hugs

The last thing I read was .75 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass. So for me, at 125 and 19% body fat per my scale (don't trust it, but that is all I have right now.. ) that give me 101 pounds, so about 75 g of protein.

That being said, I feel a whole lot better when I eat at least 100 g, more the better. So I tend to go more with the 1 gram per pound of lean body mass, myself. I tend to come in around 30/50/20 protein/carb/fat.

Yes, people can argue it forever.

I agree with Mels macro breakdown, especially for someone in a deficit (fat loss)
